Every time I come back to rewatch this, I'm baffled by just how many _GOOD_ games we really got in 2017. Breath of the Wild, Odyssey, Dark Souls 3, Hollow Knight, Cuphead, Persona 5, Resident Evil, Nier Automata, God of War, Splatoon 2, Prey---always manages to impress me

Dunkey's transition into Furi's soundtrack was amazing. Felt like a beat drop.
Then the comedic transition into Super Hot was perfect. And then the more serious shift into Dark Souls. I really gotta say Dunkey has a fantastic sense of keeping momentum/flow throughout his vids.

I forgot just how good of a year 2017 was for gaming. Nowadays it feels like not only has the quality of games decreased as more and more games release either unfinished or broken, but gaming companies have been making terrible decisions and work environments. It's only been 5 years, but god I miss 2017.
