Well, one of the conlangs actually had no word for, "magic." Not having a word for the concept that _the entire text is about_ is what totally sent this thing off the rails!
Bib changed one thing. All he did was translate young dragon into "baby that tears apart flesh with its jaws" and it's done irreparable damage to the text
You can see how it slowly melts down for the most part with each one, and then there are a couple drastic changes that rip everything apart. Also, the numbers are just *gone*.
…and that was because the speakers of his language not only have no word for, "dragon," the very concept doesn't exist. What really got me, though, is that the entire concept of magic is just _gone_ from the text now.
Let’s Have a Bouba totally forgot about the numbers their first pass through the text. But of course, Biblaridion also literally translated powers of eight into dozenal when they were already figurative for hundred and thousand.
@@alsatusmd1A13 …and Biblaridion did that _intentionally_ in order to induce distortions in later translations. Instead, his hairy log got turned into a purificaiton ritual involving trees and moss! 😆
I think it's gone "archmage" to "magician" to "spirit commander" to "druid" to "wise fisherman" so far - and somehow, "druid" was the longest-lasting one!
23:25 So, I don't know for sure (I haven't looked at everything in detail and I don't remember it all lol), But I have a theory, In Italian the passive _and_ 3rd person reflexive are both formed with the pronoun "si" (As is the indefinite apparently it's called, Equivalent to the pronoun "One" in English), so I believe "It is torn apart" and "It tears itself apart" would be more or less the same (Aside from differences in tense), So it's possible someone had something similar in their language, Leading to change and following confusion.

Good luck Schwar
