Wow! That's very cool. Incredibly sad though. My brothers best friend worked for Dade County FL sheriff's department. He wasn't a cop but worked forensics. He was killed at a crime scene. Our family is almost entirely military. Those that aren't are in another form of civil service. Our Grandfather was an NYPD detective. My Dad was an MP and K-9 training officer. My brother is a retired Coast Guard pilot. But he's also done ne a lot of drug stuff when he was stationed in Miami. Etc . Etc .. Thank You for keeping America safe!
My dad was a police officer & they take their oath very seriously. It doesn't matter if their "on duty" or not, they will always do everything they possible to help.
Shawn & Mel, this breaks my heart. I’m still crying. I have friends who are LE. I have so much respect for them and what they do. I just can’t understand how people can hate police and do the things that they do, not just them, but other people as well. It’s like people don’t care anymore! 343 firefighters lost on 9/11 -- my wife has reminded me about this (she has trained as a firefighter) many times and her sister is a LEO... not to diminish the civilian casualties but all those responders went in full well knowing they could perish. It's making me weep.
As always FFDP delivers. One of my favs by them. This hits home being a correctional officer even though most people and even police officer don't consider us law enforcement. I've been told time and time again a monkey could do my job. SMH I walk amongst the worst of worst up to 110+ at a time just me, keys, radio and some pepper spray. It took 2 officers dying in the line of duty for us to finally get that pepper spray and stab vests. Shout out to all those who keeps us safe! Love the reaction as always Shawn and Mel! ❤️
