Or the two Robocop 2 prototypes before Cain. Especially the very first one.
That skull effect was totally tubular! Pretty creepy grim-dark "We Happy Few" vibe!

@@migueldelvalle3871 quite honestly I was trying to reduce the colours used across the different minis to keep them as visually tied together as possible. I was already going to use the black / blues on the wheel so I repurposed them for the jumpsuit 🙂

I'm now something around 25 years into the hobby and I saw many "40K alternatives" come and go. After some time I accepted that there is no real alternative. There are other great tabletop games, yes. Battletech for example. Or Infinity. I solely play Battletech these days. But Warhammer 40K is still unique in what it does and how it does it.
Something new, something different, it looks really cool! The glowing green screen with a skull is great, reminds me of something from The Venture Bros.

been trying to make a skirmish game off of my kobold line but its been rough trying to balance the 3 factions in playtesting

@@Bpboshoff I’m not sure about postage for their resin worth asking them though! They’ve got contact info on their website. If they can’t do postage you can buy the STL files and either print them yourself or find a local resin 3D printing company 🙂

I expected more info in the video. Sure, supporting small miniatures companies is great but what else does Sythopian Wars have to make it a true 40k alternative? One Page Rules has a streamlined, easy to learn rule set. Marcher has a novel and interesting artillery system. What does Sythopian Wars have? What makes them unique?

@@LizardofDoom there actually is a unique game mechanic in the Actions & Commands mechanic. This is definitely unique and interesting and would have been worth covering. On the other hand, the 82 special rules may add flavour to the two armies but make balancing very difficult. Obviously Jason and Antony are still deep in game prototyping ... so calling it a game may be a bit too early? ;) Regarding the setting and the lore around the factions they are doing a very good job.
