The more I read the Bible the more I felt drawn to Islam. I was born Christian, and I practiced Christianity but the more I researched the Bible the more I felt disconnected from Christianity (regardless of Western or Eastern Christianity). I studied Judaism too, but Islam had such a strong appeal because it is the completion of what I believed in the Bible because it confirmed what came from before in the Qur'an. I was so drawn to Prophet Muhammad as the last prophet (peace be upon him). I love Islam dearly and I have been Muslim for 19 years now. I feel so blessed to be Muslim and to come back home to the religion of Adam, mosses, Ibrahim, Jesus and Muhammad.

      Allah almighty our Lord says,
Indeed, the believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabians whoever ˹truly˺ believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
      Qur'an (2:62)
Means if you believe in Allah and his Last and Final Messanger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) then you will be given eternal life in Paradise.
If you know about Jesus Christ(Pbuh) then you are a Muslim because Jesus was a Muslim.
“PROOF FROM BIBLE JESUS WAS MUSLIM:”
      Jesus said,
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” (John 5:30)
👉Read the word of Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him). He is saying,
“I seek not my own will, but the will of my father(God) which has sent me.”
Muslim means the one who submits his will to God. This verse is clear in the Bible which proves that Jesus (PBUH) was a Muslim.
      [Jesus said],
“And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
      Qur’an (19:36)
But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said,
“Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?”
      The disciples said,
We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
      Qur’an (3:52)
      Jesus declared,
“I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.
      Qur’an 19:30
“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me.”
      (John 16:12-14)
To whom Jesus (Pbuh) is talking about?
Jesus (Pbuh) is talking about Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
      “MESSAGE OF JESUS TO CHRISTIANS:”
And remember what Jesus, son of Mary, had said:
"O children of Israel, I am indeed a Messenger sent to you by Allah, confirming the Torah which has come before me and giving the good news of a Messenger who shall come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad."
      Qur'an (61:6)
"Ahmad" is the another name of Prophet Muhammad(ﷺ).
It is also confirmed by history that the sacred name of the Holy Prophet was not only Muhammad but also Ahmad.
Arabic literature bears evidence that nobody in Arabia had been named Ahmad before the Holy Prophet, and after him innumerable people have been named Ahmad in the world.
In Qur'an Allah almighty has informed us what Jesus taught them. Qur'an is Final revelation from God. We all should follow Qur'an.
      Allah almighty our creator says,
And this Qur'an is not a thing that could be composed without Allah's Revelation: nay, it is the confirmation of what was revealed before it(Torah, Gospel), and full explanation of `the Book'.
There is no doubt about this that it is from the Lord of the universe.
      Qur'an 10 [37]
"In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful."
This Message is from the slave and Messanger of Allah Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to the Mankind. Peace be upon him, who follows the right path. Furthermore,
I invite you to Islam, and if you become a Muslim you will be safe, and Allah will double your reward, and if you reject this invitation of Islam you will be committing a sin.
(And I recite to you Allah's Statement:)
      Allah almighty our creator says,
Say, "O people of the Book! Come to what is common between us and you, that we worship none but Allah; that we associate nothing with Him and that none of us shall make as our Lord any other than Allah."
If they reject your invitation, then tell them plainly, "Bear witness that we are Muslims (who worship and surrender to Allah alone)."
      Qur'an (3:64)
      Allah almighty says,
Your real Deity is but One. He Who is Lord of the earth and the heavens and of all that is between them, and Lord of all Easts.
      Qur'an (37:5)
Once we die our creator will again resurrect us on the Judgment day.And on that day if you have believed in Allah and have followed his book Quran then you will be succeed in hereafter life.
Hereafter life is the eternal life either in Hell or Paradise depending upon the good deeds.Hereafter life is true life we all should work for that life not for that which is temporary.
God Almighty says to the Mankind,
      Say(O Prophet),
“Allah gives you life, then causes you to die, then He will assemble you on the Day of Resurrection about which there is no doubt.”
      Quran (45:26)

"O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book [i.e., the Qur’ān]" Quran 5:15, This is from Quran about corruption, now should i go on historical bases and other factual bases about corruption of Bible, Protestants have 73, Catholics 66 and Orthodox have 81 or should i go on contradictions to make you clear that Bible has been changed,
Now coming on your second point how can word be creator or creation rather than it is the ability of creator to create so Jesus can't be the word instead he is resultant of word, whatever and whenever God wants to create he just say "Be" and it's created so it's the ability or power of God to create and it's not self-existent it depends on God's will so if you consider Jesus as word of God which doesn't make sense but let supposed as John 1:1 says then also Jesus pbuh can't be God because God's word depends on God's will and if word is God then God can't be depend on anything so three of them can't be God and if you consider them independent then you end up with three Gods hence by believing in Trinity you can either be polytheist or atheist but you can't be monotheist, so my dear sister or brother whatever you are God is one with all his attributes and one in essence, it's illogical to make him equal with his power or ability, how can activist, activity and outcome of activity be same thing or not distinct with each other however only activist is independent and other 2 of them depends on previous one to occur so we Muslims worship only that activist who is independent of everything and everything depends on him, he is alone self-sufficient, neither he begot nor he begotten, independent of gender neither he is male nor he is female he is above of all this believe in his absolute oneness that's the straight path.

In both we are disbelievers." 5:82....You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.
On a side note, just yesterday I was told by "someone" that the Messiah (as) was born this year and that not only are they black but a woman. :D I was like, "Really!?" And decided not to debate at that moment, but when I got home I put my head on the ground and thanked Allah for guiding me to the straight path. Allahu akabar! And remembering the mercy of Allah even in this example. Alhamdullilah Have the Servants of Allah whom HE has guided to HIS last and final revelation forgotten the mercy HE has bestowed upon us????? Muslims are sincere people that are concerned about truth and their faith. But as long as you continue to recite and subliminally
reaffirm your belief that the Christians are deceived 5 times a day, you will never give yourself the cognitive liberty to critically examine the Christian claim.
      Your words are powerful.
This is one lesson that I learnt from Islam. Allah knew this power of repetition when he asked Muslims to repeat the same phrases 5 times everyday. This is why it’s impossible to convince a praying Muslim that Mohammad is flawed, or that Christians are not deceived or Jews are not cursed.
What you repeatedly say and hear, regardless of its validity. becomes your truth and belief.
      Your words are powerful.
You will always believe whatever you recite.
Be careful what you daily recite. 🙏🏾

@@andrewfaniku Surely, it's impossible for 2 different religions (with similar origins) to not believe the other is misguided in one way. Especially when the divergence comes in the story of a single man who happens to be a central figure in the theology of both beliefs. Muslims believe that the Qur'an is the literal word of God while Christians believe that the Bible is a collection of scriptures (I think, please correct me on that). The doctrines of Tawhid and Trinity causing questions on monotheism. There are differences but don't forget that there are also similarities and you will be brothers of the people of the book. But we don't agree on everything and surely from your end you also believe we are deceived for following an illiterate Arab man in the 600s.

Yeshua or Y'shua (ישוע‎ with vowel pointing יֵשׁוּעַ‎ - Yēšūaʿ in Hebrew) was a common alternative form of the name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ‎ (Yəhōšūaʿ - Joshua) in later books of the Hebrew Bible and among Jews of the Second Temple period. The name corresponds to the Greek spelling Iesous (Ἰησοῦς), from which, through the Latin IESVS/Iesus, comes the English spelling Jesus.

Terrific lecture, greatly appreciated! Just a small point, and not to overly complicate the discussion but to be clear, based on the authentic letters of Paul, it does not appear Pauline Christianity saw Isa as equal to G-d, nor that he should be worshipped. Also, it appears at least some of his opposition incorrectly interpreted his views during the time, and im fact that Paul was much more Jewish than previously thought by many Christians in terms of his adherence to the Law and Jewish theology, even if he did depart from the original Christian beliefs.

    chapter 2 verse 177
Righteousness is not in turning your faces towards east or west. Rather, the righteous are those who believe in God, the Last Day, the angels, the Books, and the prophets; who give charity out of their cherished wealth to relatives, orphans, the poor, the needy travellers, beggars, and for freeing captives; who establish prayer, pay alms tax, and keep the pledges they make; and who are patient in times of suffering , adversity and in the heat of battle. It is they who are true in faith and it is thy who are mindful of God.
    Muslim = To be righteous.
To be righteous = Believe in One God, believe in the angels, believe in the books and the messengers; prophets.
In turn, anyone from any religion, or no religion at all, can be Muslim.
if you follow and believe chapter 2, verse 177 in the Quran, you ARE Muslim. no matter what religion, no matter where you're from, no matter the colour of your skin, no matter your language you speak.
for instance... my Mother died a catholic.. but she was also in fact a Muslim.

We have the 12 disciples and the books of each of the witnesses on the holy bible that we vow as written by man inspired by the Holy Spirit. You forgot to also mention that the Holy Spirit of God testified that Jesus was the Don of God when he was baptized by John the Baptist... I’m not sure why that wasn’t mentioned here? We agree as Muslims nobody is disputing the fact but it is the same person we talking about. Of course our prophet Muhammad PBUH didn’t meet on this world and Son of Mary PBUH lived hundreds of years before our prophet was even born. Prophet Muhammad he got the revelation from God almighty and there is a chapter about his mother and about him and the conversation that he will have with God on the judgement day. What I believe is on the night of ascension he met a lot of the prophets PBUH them all, including Jesus on the heavens. Hope that clarifies that.

@@southside-hornbaby5325It is pretty difficult to debate Islamic assertions as they are centered on Allah's revelations which leaves only the option of accept it or reject it. .
Christianity on the other hand has gone through sieves of argument.
Ordinarily, an account by a man 600-700 years after the fact will be totally suspect when compared against accounts recorded 10-50 years after the death of a man and based on people who actually met the person or people who met the people who met them.
A more scientific argument will be, during the classical period, Christian and Jewish lore were wide spread in the Mediterranean and Middle eastern World. Of course there are many versions and the ability to read does not really restrict the ability to have a general knowledge of the lore. It may affect a more detailed theological analysis however.
Now, if for instance Mohammed wanted to develop a monotheistic religion, and seeing that Jews and Christians agree on the Old testament it will make more logical sense if he adopts a Christian interpretation which rejects Trinity except that unfortunately the accepted Christian scripts do support Christianity, which he had not read if he as he did not read. This therefore suggests why he probably accepted the Barnabas Gnostic interpretation.
On the argument regarding the language Jesus spoke and his actual name, the elementary rejection of Greek also reveals a lack of in depth knowledge of the Jewish world at the classical time. The Greeks had actually captured and were ruling Judea and Jerusalem up to 100 years before the birth of Jesus Christ.J. Jews were becoming learned in the Greek language, culture and philosophy. Judas Maccabeus who came centuries before Jesus was recorded as Judas rather than Judah. Josephus the classical Jewish historian recorded his history in Greek and answered a Greek name.
Therefore, the idea that name Jesus is not the actual name of Jesus Christ because it is nit Hebrew or Aramaic is not a very intelligent argument. Granted however, that the actual name may not be Jesus, it is however less unlikely to be either Isah or Yissus which are all Arabic derivatives no matter how close Arabic may be to Hebrew or Islamic. the simple reason is, Arabic language never influenced the Jews at classical time, rather, it is the other way round.
The argument that Jesus Christ did not alter the law of Moses, rather that the law of Moses and the gospel of Jesus is vague. If the law of Moses has been corrupted, then there is no law to compare the law Jesus gave and if the gospel of Jesus has been corrupted, then there is gospel to compare if the message of Islam is valid. As said, it simply boils down to believe in the revelation? Why exactly?
The truth is, in the world we live in, Islam is not really very appealing. Just as he mentioned that Europeans used the concept of a white Jesus to support slavery, terrorists today use the concept of Islam to murder, kidnap and rape.
For instance, will Jesus uphold that Christians should not eat pork but accept the Muslims should eat rabbit and camels? Care of Leviticus 11: 5-7
Finally he parted with the claim that Paul created Christianity, we can also argue the Usman Calif created islam. he burnt off all the existing Qurans and commissioned a new Quran

@imu70 I sincerely wish you guidance from the almighty and hope that you will learn Islam from a reputed Muslim scholar and not from the Islamophobia industry or Christian apologetic industry... So that you will learn the truth about the prophet of Islam and his message. The success Islam had in building a relatively truthful and just civilization from one of the most aggressive and illiterate people on Earth in and of itself is a testimony to its truth.
However hard the fake historians of the apologetic industry try to cherry pick and misquote the book revealed to Muhammad and his life incidents, the truth will always survive the falsehood. However hard they try to instill fear among their followers as to desperately get them back to follow the regressive falsehood, the truth will win over their mockery and concoctions, as falsehood is bound to perish. The failure of Pauline Christianity and the violence it caused on this earth has led many people of the Europe and America to abandon religion and God himself as they think all the religions are like that. I sincerely hope and pray that God will show them his righteous path and help the truth to relieve the burden Christianity has placed on it. Aameen. If you want to be guided, then just sincerely, wholeheartedly pray to the one God of Abraham, Moses and Jesus, the creator and sustainer of the universe, to show you the truth as Muslims do at least 17 times a day.. The Ferocies (apologies for the spelling) remind me of the current establishment in Pakistan! Laws for the weak and using the economy for their own benefit.
    Weird resemblance!

The Messiah (Jesus) son of Mary he is not GOD but a messenger, God almighty can NOT have a human Mother so are they saying the GOD almighty is half Human? Search for the truth "one message foundation" here TH-cam
Is Jesus GOD ? if your answer is YES then this mean GOD impregnated his own mother virgin marry (not sexual)so he can come out from her?
    Even the the bible says
    Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, Nor a son of man,
Numbers 23:19 New King James Version
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Exodus 4:22, Luke 3:38, Psalms 2:7, and Jesus the bible states they are all the GOD first born how many first born does GOD have? if the bible from GOD definitely will not have any error, GOD Almighty will not make mistake.

And it's remarkable to understand in the perception of Jews. If it's asked to them, what was the role of prophets, they would say,
"to guide people who have gone astray from monotheism"
"then, either you believe in Jesus or not, the fact that Christianity evolved away from monotheism, don't you think there's a very necessity and possibility of another prophet"
"Yes, of course. But we just won't accept. Because that's what we: proud at ourselves. We are the people of Ink!!"

I wonder what God will prefer a monotheist evil mass murderer over a polytheist kind, loving righteous person. I am yet to put my finger over it.

@@innocentodinkemere4597 Polytheism alone was not the reason for any conflicts. The persecutions and harassments against the believing people, be it Muhammed who were forced to run out of his homeland just because he believed it's only worthy of worship to The Creator, or be it Moses and his believers who were persecuted over and over again, the wrongdoing happens from the other end in various levels.

@@therafastory but your argument is prophets are sent to preach monotheism. You did not say prophets are sent to preach righteousness.
I am from West Africa and I can tell you with historic certainty that Christianity and Islam are perceived as very evil and violent by the original polytheist aboriginals of this area.
Currently the Islamic State of West Africa is sweeping through this area with deadly terror and violence. Clearly righteousness and unrighteousness is not limited to either polytheism or monotheism. It resides in the heart of men and those who chose make their choice one way or the other
Why should a righteous prophet preach monotheism then?

    • @therafastory
      @therafastory 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@innocentodinkemere4597 To recognize The Beginning Source, The First being, and believe in Him is the fundamentals of belief. And that's the most righteous thing of all. Imagine if the Highest Source of all these existence didn't provide the potential of Life on Earth, we wouldn't be here.. We wouldn't even know we are something unborn. To be grateful to that Creator is the first Fundamental purpose of Life and most righteous thing to do. And prophets taught all kind of righteousness. If anybody is killing any innocents, it's terribly evil, and if anyone's saving anyone from death it's a highly good deed.. To think of this existence in big picture, and to deny the gratitude to the Ultimate Creator and then ascribe other things as as good as that Creator is truly an ungrateful thing to do and definitely not righteousness..
