Hi, folks! Please don't massage the colofix into your hair, and DO NOT put a cap on, as the instructions will tell you. This will break your hair. The chemicals do not need heat to help. It's a good product. Good luck!
I also skipped step 3. Also make sure you're in a well ventilated place, as this stuff is STRONG. Made my eyes water. I was happy with the results, though, and was able to color over it after washing and drying.
Came out such a stunning color ❤ !! I’m grabbing this today my hair ended to black instead of dark brown lived with it for 2 months but can’t stand it any longer !!!! Thank you for this review.
I have been watching a lot of color remover videos and one of them said that step 3 oxidizes any dye that is leftover after you do the remover. Basically it shows you if there is dye left so that you know if it will react with any dye you put over it. You’re supposed to continue removing it until it doesn’t turn dark with step 3 because whatever is left over will react with dye that you out over it and cause it to be a different color than what you see on the box.
You can’t lighten hair with color fix. Only remove artificial pigment. If you had highlights under there somewhere, the existing pigment layered over it will be removed, showing the highlights again. Also, hair chemicals aren’t shampoo. You can’t just expect it to foam up and spread.
It’s not bleach… it doesn’t lighten natural hair. It shrinks artificial oxidative dye pigments so they can wash out. Bleach removes pigment from natural, semi, demi or permanent color hair.
Did the color fix come with a step 3 and if so, did you use it? I have heard that most don't recommend the #3 step. Anyway I think it turned out lovely!
Just used this to remove dark reddish brown dye and I skipped the #3 and it was back to pale orange blonde while washing it out I was so relieved but then after I had it in a towel for maybe 10 mins I took it out and somehow it was the same dark red color I started with before…..
You have to follow the exact directions. I just came from another video where it also happened. I have the box here haven’t used and it says to rinse for many minutes! The product will remain on your hair. Use #3 also there’s a reason it’s in the box. 😂
I have had color fix a while and was curious if when u say without bleach u mean that u did not use part 3? I watched the video, but I have black brown hair and over processed that I am about to add glossy steel to but will not work if to dark. 😕 I'm pretty much creating my own hair treatment like u in video. Btw I loved it props 2 looks great!
This is not a replacement for bleach! It is only to be used to remove box dye, it doesn’t act as a bleach, only a color restoration. It also says not to mix bottle number 3!
I think your hair looks pretty damn good especially for all that you put it through but TBH I do the same thing I think I need to get some of that olaplex stuff.
LOL I just got finished watching your video, then sitting here in the quiet when my Google alarm starts going off. LMAO got love the "Hey Google" command.
Why did u say hairdressers wouldn't like u doing that, mixing the two colors? My grandmother was a master hair designer for 44 years at jcpennys and she does that all the time to create custom colors
Funny I'm about to do the same exact thing to mine. The only thing I didn't use is 7VA, I only used the 10NA. People after you do this you can rebond your hair with sallysbeauty 3 step affordable system by Creme of Nature, its called Plex.
Go to Sally's where you can buy professional colors and you mix with developers. No. 1 being black (darkest) and No. 10 being the blondest (without bleach). So a 5 or 6 would be brownish colors. The letters after the numbers also signify something - such as N meaning neutral and G meaning gold.

Color fix works so good just tried it last night came out perfect bronze blonde without even dying. It works way better then color oops.
When you do this again, never agitate the hair by brushing/massaging it. As you figured out, it will break your hair.
I think the 7VA is what darkened your hair. It has violet in it and when I added purple shampoo once that darkened my blonde hair.
Did you use step 3? It always makes me hair go back darker but I heard some people skip this step?

Its just bleach

Step 3 in the color fix line can be avoided altogether. It will darken your hair so avoid it.
Yasss sis🥰🥰🥰 your hair looks fabulous!! I just bought all my goodies to do this! Wish me luck!!
OMG her vibe is giving 2005-2007 and I love it!!!!
I love the final color! Great job. You stressed me when you were combing it though...
Thank you for the video I’m first time toning and color stripping my hair. You helped me find a few mistakes I did wrong and will change up next time.
"this is future Jen and I actually had some breakage" LMAO

You're pretty funny while you putting the dye on! LOL

It looks nice! I just could never do that because I don’t know what half that stuff is.
Looks a lot better in the natural light

Love your colors
What an adorable dog. I'd watch an hour long video of just you and your dog
You’re so funny in a good way 🤣 loved the video.
Use a wide tooth comb to comb thur hair won't break hair shafts off
LOL I just got finished watching your video, then sitting here in the quiet when my Google alarm starts going off. LMAO got love the "Hey Google" command.
Great video!
Sis I love your personality, this video had me cackling lmao your hair looks great

It wasn’t just because of brushing. You also left the color remover in longer than you should have
The box says no more than 20 minutes, she knew it and still went over.
Tell me how I used the exact demi perm and ruined my blonde hair 🤣🤣😅 I thought I did it right until I got out the shower and it was brown! Lmao

Yo tenía rojo me lo quito me lo maltrato con tratamiento se arregla
Do not comb your hair with dyes or bleach or practically any product. Comb through conditioner.
Do you think it changed your natural hair color ?
20 minutes
That’s a 5 or 6

looks exactly the same as it was before smh

it’s so ridiculous how women have to dress so provocative. You are worth more than that.
Humble Daughter LMFAO she’s wearing a tank top you fucking pig.
Humble Daughter it’s so ridiculous how you are so concerned with what other women are wearing. Worry about yourself, you are worth more than that.
She's in her own house and wearing a tank top. If she wanted to walk outside topless it's none of your business.
😂😂 jealous much?
It's just a tank top not the satan's robe
