Inside a failed drive

I had a broken hard drive and took it apart to see what was going on.
This is not an instructional video, this drive was pretty much dead already, so I was not using "professional" standards in my work on this drive. I did hope that maybe there was a way to swap the one bad surface around so it was the last in sequence instead of the first, but the drive was too far gone.
No working drives were harmed in the making of this film.
One odd thing I found was that the drive specs I found indicated to set it up for five heads, but the drive has six heads internally.
I have no idea why.
