If you are not going into the camera settings on the S23 Ultra and going into Camera Assistant to set picture softening to Medium as your default(High is too much softening), you are not getting the best from your S23 Ultras in my opinion guys. If you don't, you will end up with over sharpened photos like those in this video. It makes a Night And Day difference. Videowise, my S23 Ultra wants to over expose in many outdoor scenarios, forcing me to manually adjust exposure a bit too often. It's indoor video is great I must say, and a VAST improvement over that shot by my old Exynos S21 Ultra. Low light noise reduction on it is good, but Apple leads the world in this department. The low light noise reduction on the 15 Pro Max is quite stunning.

Additionally, the noteworthy aspect is that Samsung, Google, and Apple all provide a plethora of excellent options for aftermarket apps, significantly enhancing our ability to customize images. All the cameras perform exceptionally well, with personal preference playing a crucial role. Many users appreciate the hyper-real color look of Samsung. Interestingly, even their TVs, without adjustments, seem to follow a similar pipeline. However, it's nice that we have the option to make adjustments if desired. During testing, I found the S23 Ultra to be an outstanding camera. Furthermore, when it comes to video with LOG ProRes (Apple), it surpasses others, indeed. As a S23U user, I confirm. Recommend every body to set picture softening to medium. Video recording on One UI 6 is over bright, I don't know why Samsung is doing this. For overall score, I give the image 8/10 and video is 9/10 for S23U, in terms of video recording itself, S23U is just slightly worst than 15 Pro Max.
Finally a review on RAW I have been waiting for long time! Everyone is comparing auto jpg which is quite useless for me. I have more indepth issue about RAW and Gallery and want to ask Samsung official or Reddit but still not yet articulated.
I currently own both..out of the box without messing around with raw and pro settings, photo quality consistency easily goes to s23u...video easily goes to 15pm…photo potrait mode on 15pm struggles so much to identify and focus on an object that some parts of it tend to get blurred..10x optical zooms on s23u is still unbeatable by 5x optical on 15pm..imho I prefer s23u when taking photos and it has way way more creative tools available built in to edit photos …I don’t really do videos anyway

Nice to discover your profile. I need to admit that 50mp and raw format on s23 ultra need some heavy adjustments. Even after latest updates it still applies magenta and saturation on any day and night photos, however it manages to keep soft rather than over sharpened. S23 ultra has so much working on the background and sometimes it changes the photo profile without you knowing it. Once you download the camera assistant and change the settings the soften photos to medium level than it becomes optimum. And Samsung makes you work even more by hiding the best capturing option EXPERT RAW in the "more" settings or as a seperate apk. And this work amazing actually. Just it takes a while. I strongly recommend Samsung to simplify everything and give us the best capabilities of this great sensors and soft. On daily life when I try, I see that S23 ultra is ahead of 15 Pro Max.

I want to mention that 1 month ago I had s23 ultra for 2 weeks, I tested it on all parts, photo, video, etc. 3 days ago I got my iPhone 15 pro max, I didn't get to test it much, but as far as I managed, I want to tell you that even though I've owned Android for the last 10 years, I don't regret it absolutely not that I switched to IOS. This iPhone moves flawlessly, you have nothing to complain about, at the moment my opinion is that it is the best phone in the world.
