I was blessed to see Jorden perform this material in the late 90s at the Side Door in St. Louis when I was like 13 or 14. I think Ken was playing with them too. Kicked ass.
This is an amazing performance. I love how Jordon carrys both vocal lines on the chorus so powerfully. “ Words are on the run anyway” love this cut. Classic!!!
Saw u guys in Vancouver 1999, stellar show! Drummer said wow" what a good looking audience". You guys played a song called Candy in the sun- which i never heard before. Pretty awesome!
Was incredibly lucky. Saw them open for Vertical Horizon. Was going to that show anyway. "Discovered" BTS a week prior so I knew who they were. No one was paying a whole lot of attention and then they played this song and everyone just sort of froze. My GF at the time later asked me about "the opening band where all the guys looked like they need a bath but sounded great" HA.
@@TooBusyToWatchVideos I remember that night as I got to hang with Matt Mahaffey, ate my first White Castle burger, and met Henry Rollins in the parking lot of our motel.
@@blinkerthestar1 What a remarkable story Jordon, I am sure you have many. This is amazing that you are friends with Matt Mahaffey he is a genius in many of the same ways as you. You are two of my favorite musicians. We have better food in Nashville the White Castle - sorry about that :-). I'm glad you got to see these comments. I'm sure you are proud of this song - I say with no exaggeration is a majestic masterpiece.

That was the best show we ever played. Kellii Scott was on drums.

I can't believe this album is 20 years old. I still listen to it all the time. Happy Anniversary, August Everywhere!
Great band and Great song by BTS
La mejor cancion de esta agrupacion... Lo digo desde Colombia¡
Love the vid! August Everywhere is easily one of my desert island albums!
Ken Andrews really helped that album come together, it has his signature all over it. Its a great and underrated album.

Nice! I remember that show well. I think the song you're talking about is called "Bourgeois Kitten".
Thank you for posting these live performances. For those of us who never got to see Blinker in the States, this means so, so much!
saw you guys in 2000/2001 in LA by winning tickets on radio and been a fan ever since

😂
is this standard tuning? Mind sharing the chords? I love this song and this album.
It's standard. Verse chords are B, Dmaj7, G, E7, G, Emaj7. Chorus is Emaj7, Amaj7, Dmaj7, G, Bmin7sus4. Bridge is A/F#, A/D, A/F#, Dm, Dm7, Fmaj7, F#. Hope that helps!
@@blinkerthestar1 Thanks so much for taking the time to reply! Seems straight forward enough. Cheers.
