Lived in London ontario in the 90's. Met a fellow named Randy Pederson from Pembroke through good friends and became friends as well. He mentioned a fellow named Jordan and his obvious talents. Heard a song way back called nectarina at that time from blinker the star that I thought was pretty cool. But this.... wow! Incredibly crafted, written and performed. I'm a musician myself for almost 40 years, and I wish I could write something remotely close to this. Mind blowing....
August Everywhere has to be one of the most underrated albums ever created. I remember buying the CD specificly for "below the sliding doors", but didn't end skipping a single song. So many great songs on one album: All Dreamed Out, Star Behind the Star, Strange As They Say, Below the Sliding Doors, etc...amazing.
blinker the star's "future fire" music video at 2:43 here has a harpsichordist wearing same clothes, same hair style, almost same notes played as depicted and heard in PM Dawn's "Die Without You" music video at the same timestamp: 2:43. I have a feeling this was not unintentional. Blinker the star has esoteric understandings.
