Hi, There is a big mistake in the diagram with the location of the valves. Valve number 2 is the evm valve and valve number 1 is of the torque converter
I replaced the solonoid as per this video.firet try I haven't done manual valve properly.started no gears. Then I re done with manual valve. Now gear enters and then engine stops when realese the breake. Can you please advise any cause?

Can I just buy any valves I have a Peugeot 307 1.6lx petrol some said they have to be reprogrammed is this true cause I was going to get the febi valves are these the ones to use
I just bought a new Peugeot 307. I noticed that the previous owner has put external thermostat to control the temp. within a range of 70's C. As all know that this not the ideal operation Peugeot of 307. Consequently, I decided to return everything to the manufacturer set-up in order to get the full performance of the engine and save fuel. Having done that, the engine reached the ideal temp which is 90 C. However, after first run I noticed a knew problem. The Auto transmission starts to disengage during driving especially when you want to accelerate after long stop at the traffic light. Does anyone have a clue about what is happening? any suggested solutions please?
Do you need to update ecu's software after replacing the solenoids? I have read new solenoids don't work with old software. My car is a peugeot 206 (2005)

Just brought a 2004 peugrit 307 automatic.. .was going alright..then Noticed some clicking sounds (likesolenoids) from gear box area...but no probs, then ladt time driving 3 beeps and the D (i. e. Drive on dashboard went out) and it said automatic gear fault. Wiuld not cgange up into highest gear. Anyway, continyued to my destination. It them seemed to be alright afain on restarting and wS fine until i got home.. Then next day same thing. could it be neefing new transmission oil..or new solenoids, or both.. See there are a lot if issues with tjis gear box.. Any help or tips appreciated

Took car to auto electrician who diagnised it as fault P0410.(exhaust emission priblem i think) ..then took it to dealer who confirmed this and said the problem lies with the air pump and valve. The dealer quoted me $1200 for parts and 1 hour labour. I think i can source the parts (i. e. The air pump and valve) for much cheaper. Do you think this is a job i can do.. Changing pump and valve? ...first i need to locate it though.. Whete in engine is it located? Thanks for your help...

Mr.ferkemall.after drain the atf esso fluid from the tramission gearbox,i like to know how much actual fluid needed.godbless
