Thought I make this video because nobody has done this yet. 2nd time to edit a video and I think I am now starting to get the gist of it. So hopefully I'll improve my editing skills further down the road.
Any errors I made or Instant knockdowns/outs that I missed will be listed here: N/A
I also included the ones from Doc Louis's Punch-Out because I didn't think it deserved it's own video, there are only 2.

I like how the 4th IKO trick for Bald Bull implies that it's easier for him to tank charges from a real bull rather than take more than 2 very strong punches from a 17 year old boy. Just how much force do those star punches possess, damn lol

Seeing all these hidden and obscure ways to quick kill the fighters in this game just shows how much love was put into Punch-Out Wii. So much depth in this game…I love it man.

Fun fact about the Aran Ryan fight. If your on low health and knock him down and let his sneak attack hit you it won’t knock you down but it will heal you.
Not sure if it heals you, I believe you just won't take any damage from it.
@@nolan414_ it healed me when I was at inch of health left. Least I remember it doing that. Still I find it funny the game won’t let both opponents be on the ground at the same time. No double count outs
This isn't true because the attack does a set percentage of your current health. It'll always take 10% according to what I remember

I really like to imagine that in canon Little Mac was only able to beat all of these because he just abused all of this stuff against them, and now he's mastered it all he's almost unbeatable.
I like to think that all these grown ass heavyweight men pulled their punches from a junior flyweight.

I love the star punch after Bald Bull's Bull Rush, though. He's walking towards you, Mac punches him, and he walks away. So it's just like "bitch, just walk away."
Sped up Hippo sounds like a certain red birb going uwewewewe.
Didn't know you can instantly knock down or knock out your opponents by using certain moves, such as throwing the Star Punch into the Bull Charge twice, throwing the Star Punch at the end of Donkey Kong's five hit combo, or throwing the Three Star Punch into Piston Hondo's bow. And I thought there was only one instant knockout on Doc Louis's Punch Out: throwing a Star Punch into Doc's chocolate bar. (Sparring only)
A star punch into Docs Chocolate isn't an instant knockdown actually. Just does normal damage
Usually, he puts his choco when a Star Punch would take him down but it's not instant
It's just that the star registers first
Also, Giga Mac has only an IKD and an IKO.
Instant knockdown: hit him with a star punch while doing his pose taunt.
Instant knockout: is like the mentioned IKD, but with a 3-star punch.

i actually learned that don flamenco has a second instant knockdown, but it’s impossible to get in the regular game and only accessible via cheats
if you counter is rose flurry with a 3 star punch and hit him with another 3 star punch right as he gets up, he’ll go down again, makes me think that they wanted to implement something similar to his ikd in contender, but scrapped it at the last second and made it that, guessing nobody would find it
That actually does sound pretty interesting, especially if this is Title Defense. Do you have a video of it by any chance?

This is one of the coolest videos I have seen on TH-cam. I knew only like two of these instant knockouts!
Here's an idea I don't think I've seen anyone do yet...
A maximum punch count. As in how many punches can each boxer take before getting instantly knocked out or can't get back up before the ref says 10. Curious about how many rounds they can last. Oh, and no TKO's since that would ruin the point of the challenge.
It does sound interesting, but might be tedious at the same time.
If anything here is a list of the # of times a boxer can get knocked down before officially staying down;

Because when mac performs his 1\2\3 star punch he doesn't react to that and just pretends that it's a normal punch

i could be wrong but 2 may have been missed
1. i believe if you star punch doc louis when he brings out the candy bar is a OHKO
2. on title defense don flamenco I believe that OHKO on contender also works here but you have to do the shuffle differently (after the jab you did after the hook you do the opposite side jab and do its correct hook then its jab) (and yes no damage)
The Doc Louis one is not an IKO, a star into his chocolate bar just does normal damage.
And title defense don doesn't have that IKO mechanic. Although the loop is still present, the knockout is not

The funny thing is that TD Bald Bull is considered the hardest fight in the game, and yet he has the most Instant Knock-outs of all the opponents (not that they're easy to pull off though lol).
Really? I'd expect it to be TD Popinski or TD Sandman
For me personally, TD Soda and TD Bull were considered the hardest for me casually. They were rough fights that punished you terribly
In the case of Bald Bull, he is extremely easy to cheese out. Counter his hook early, duck, left jab for a star. Dodge his next jabs, and after dodging the third jab, land a jab, duck, left jab for another star. Dodge everything until the Bull Charge (Try using as many hooks as possible after dodging so he does less attacks. When he does the Bull Charge, hold 1 or 2 as the camera zooms up to his face until you do a hook, then 2 more hooks will counter it. Hold A or - when the camera zooms in and you will star punch him and win.
I getcha. He can only be knocked down with a star punch. Try to knock him down without the star punch and he'll just recover and walk back toward you.
bald bull was easy for me soda pop and bear hugger was the msot hellish for me (bear hugger was mostly because of the timing)

I noticed during the TD fights, donkey kong’s chilling in the audience.
Care to accept this *Nonstop Knockdowns Challenge* and it goes a little something like this:
Give each and every one of your opponents three rounds, but give them as many knockdowns as possible (the maximum of six, unless they can't reach that many, like Glass Joe) without winning by any other variants of knockouts, but the one they get by ten counts after getting dry by exhaustion, and technical knockouts after opponents go through six knockdowns and still get up (Title Defense Bear Hugger, I'm sure).
I'm interested to see this because one, nobody that I have seen has ever tried this. Two, I'm interested to see low health the opponents get before they get the knockdown that might provide the ten count knockout. Oh, and three, bogus releasing galore!
That's a neat idea, I'll see if I have interest in making something like that

10:05 Don Flamenco should've been used as a punching bag until 2nd knockdown. After that, when he has half of his stamina left, use a star punch. At least that's how I remember it.
That one is only in contender mode.

Shoutouts to my dad for helping with Piston Honda. (I know it's Hondo, I like to call him Honda.) On my first try against him, I tried to counter the Honda Rush but didn't get it, and I assumed it was a Contender-only trick. Then my dad asked to play and mashed a lot. I don't think he got a single punch in until he randomly hooked Honda and countered his Rush, instantly KDing him. If I didn't figure out you could do that, I probably wouldn't have beaten Honda (I went to Round 3 and TKO'd by countering his Rush, if I got hit by that rush I was done for)

Great tiger actually has 2 IKO's
The one of counting clones and a new one I discovered...
If you knock Great Tiger down twice in the first two rounds (in both of them) then on round 3 and you have a Star (or earn a star), and Great tiger's HP is low (or the adequate to knock him out) throw the star punch and you will win by KO. I discovered it playing Mac's Last stand
Otherwise if you don't knock great tiger down twice in the first two rounds
The IKO won't work
That's something that can also apply to Title Defense Don Flamenco and Title Defense Aran Ryan I believe (Since they both require 6 knockdowns for a KO). I left those out intentionally because of the conditions required to get them. I personally don't consider it in instant KO since it's not "instantly" draining their entire health. Especially since star punches are sometimes programmed to make opponents stay down longer but with those 3, I guess a star for their 5th knockdown just makes it a 10 count but they wanted the cutscene animation to play instead.

Who else here likes to throw a THREE STAR uppercut punch when your opponent only has a sliver of life left, that would have easily been knocked to the mat with a light jab ?

One way to beat him is when he does uppercut counter it with a 3 star punch after make sure not to miss
I mean macho man but the hp has to be low enoght or do a total of 10 star punches or more
