    Thanks for the video! I had some issues with the fan port on my board - appereantly the mosfet is shorted from the factory. Got a solution from BTT.

    Thanks for the video. But if you have a 2 hotend? Is it possible to use 2 fans for both hotends? Are there two pwm fan pin or is there a way to use another pin for second fan control?

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup. Use an open signal pin. On board. There might be a video in SKR 1.4 playlist or SKR 1.3 playlist.

    by the way your visual code studio setup for marlin is/was july2020 spot on, you should consider chopping that and re- title for YT algorithm, Good stuff

    I have a question. Fan0 makes perfect sense to me, but what about the hotend fan. I have seen videos where they connect it to HE1 (Hot End 1). I tried plugging it into Fan1, which works but F1, F2, and F3 all seem to be always on and I wanted it to stop when temp was room temp (or close to it). Is there a configuration I need to update or do I have to use HE1?

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on if the fan has a signal pin or if reserved pin or if direct power pin.

      I had to make a seperate breakout board for my hotends to enable auto_fan:

    Can't find a video to explain f0 config for the tft35 E3 and marlin 2. Have fan to cool part connected to pb7 which is the pin indicated in the pins file for f0. f0 shows up on the screen of the tft, but doesn't control the fan. Confused. Pulling hair out! Please help. Thanks for all the work you do. Your videos have been a great asset.

      I think I did a video on this a long time ago or I'm a Livestream.
      You need to specify number fans in config.ini file for display.

    Is it posible to control FAN2,FAN3 or it is always on? I would like to connect hepa filter fan so i can turn it on/off via gcode and set speed. Fan0 is layer fan, Fan1 is HE fan always on. What about fan2,3? Is there a way to control 'em. Thanx

    Can you set the extruder fan in this way? Normaly you run the fan directly of your powersupply.
    I want to run the fan of the controllerboard and run the fan only if the hotend is heating up.
    Is that posible?

    • @EdwardBraiman
      @EdwardBraiman  ปีที่แล้ว

      There should be a tutorial in playlist for this. Inside description should be a link to playlist.

    • @fvheel

      All i could find is that it is not posible. The only alternatieve is with a temperature controlled mosfed.
      Could you give me a link?

    Since he didn't cover how to set up the pwm fan in configuration_adv.h, I'm gonna help you out here.
    Search E0_AUTO_FAN_PIN and add P2_03 there.

    Do you really think people interested in this content need to know "big end of the USB in here and little end". You think these people are the same who build, code etc, knowing how to open folder, select folder ... it's crazy, nobody is going to need this if they are doing this man.

      Someone once told me once it's not a serial cable, then I asked them what the S was in USB. Remember the tutorial is not just made for you.
