I couldn't connect to the V1.4 turbo card with the computer no matter what I tried. I saw you had a video on how to use just the card, I thought awesome. Compiled the firmware, sent it to the drive, it updated the firmware on the card. I installed it in the board, I have the board connected up to the printer already, but it still shows no printer attached on the screen. I sure hope they didn't sent out a bunch of Turbo cards that didn't work. Big Tree Tech is not responding to any emails I sent. Thanks for your instructional videos and your time involved in making them for us all.

@@EdwardBraiman I did, but the first one failed, the chip on the card would get over 200 F and the screen went black. The second one is working, but I only have the touch screen part, which is what I wanted any way. All the cables have to be connected or it won't work. I even tried it using the port 1 from the driver card to port 3 as BTT instructions say to do, but still no old school display using the knob. I went through 4 driver boards and finally the 4th driver board worked. The printer is so quiet now and the prints are outstanding. Thanks for your videos, they helped me out a lot.

So I bought the skr 1.4 turbo with steppers combo from Amazon. However I was sent the the 1.4 non turbo. The label was wrong on the box and they offered me a discount for the mixup and cost was only 16 bucks from the 60 that it would have been. I technically had no reason to get the turbo as compared to the regular other than having the best version. I'm probably only gonna use the wifi and steppers and maybe at some point an auto bed leveler. I use all the time and is pretty much on and running constantly apart from readying the next print. But i use it for hobby and not commercial. And this is going on the ender 3 original and not pro. So my question is, is the turbo that much better that I should def get it. Or is the normal version all I'll need for my type of use. Cuz 15 bucks is hell of markdown from the 60 it would cost and I'd be dumb to switch it for very little improvement?

  • @roaster591

Is the baud rate supposed to be 115200 for this board? There is no pin map for v1.4 turbo. Use 1728? Use V 1.4? Change board id? Missing library for 2209 drivers. VS Code won't compile because I have to update my includes. I have to do that instead of the seller? There may be some messages down there in the corner to include things, but we won't go into that now. Install a library installer with DOS commands to install the parts the seller couldn't bother with. The gd rubber duck doesn't work either. Not very happy.
