Hello from Russia! We have this "space food" too, but it is more or less - gag gift, that has nothing to do with real space food. It is more or less common misconseption here from USSR that all our space food that time was in tubes - soupe, bread, meat and cake) Thus this type of jocke food was created)

Greetings from Russia! Thank you for doing videos about Russia, I appreciate it!
I really like your videos because you make interesting and sometimes atmospheric videos about MREs and other food. When I say "atmospheric", I mean your videos that you record on the boat. I really like it!
I was born and have lived in Russia all my life, but I have never tried so many Russian MREs and cosmonaut food, like you.
The fries look very unappetizing because they contain a lot of moisture.
I actually recommend you try the food we eat in Russia, such as Borscht, Pelmeni (Dumplings), Blini (it's something like pancakes).
Also try instant noodles from Russia. A lot of Koreans have said very good things about it, and they like it.
I think you can buy pelmeni (Dumplings), and Russian instant noodles in Russian stores in America.
I am sorry for my English, I practice it every day. Thank you for you videos!
And yes, I was surprised to see a man praying before eating. God bless you!

I want to make videos about Russia in English language for foreigners. I have recorded a video about Russian McDonalds with new brand name “Tasty and thats it!” But I am not sure that it would be interesting for peoples and the problem is that my speaking English is better, than grammar, but when I listen my speech, it’s kinda weird 😂. Hopefully I don't burst anyones bubble, but this is novelty food like astronaut ice cream. It would weigh too much to send to space because of the water content. Astronauts actually eat normal food closer to military MREs, but I think they are treated a bit better with quality of ingredients. They even have regular condiments like ketchup in space.

I had some Russian meny stuff from this brand and it was surprisingly good. tasted just like proper homemade stuff. however in Russia they come with that special bag to get it warm, i guess that helps. and then this brand is not actual space food but they claim to use the same technology. you can actually get real deal space food from the same factory that actually supplies Russian cosmonauts but that is 10 times the price and doesn't have any pictures on it and so on. never get to try that yet so can't tell if there's any difference.

And the fact that the author of the video laughs at the alleged Russian fries or a Texas burger, it really looks funny...but it was probably necessary to look for information for whom this food is. I thought I was going to be a "cool" dad a couple of winters ago and bought my kids freeze dried space ice cream, they hated it 🤣. After hearing what you had to say about getting "seconds" as if mom chewed it up for me I see why! I hope you all have a great weekend and that you stay safe.

Ада в автобус. Удобно, вкусно, дорого, мало.
Да, я пару раз ехала в Сочи на автобусе из Москвы. Это отдельный вид мазохизм.
