It's a great part of the country to live and explore. It's a shame so much of the fort has been lost. It must've been impressive in its day. Great video as always.
Wonderful deep history of this fort. Loved the museum. Great to see that they preserved the arch. Just goes to show how wars are stupid. Loved the steam train. Thank you for taking us on your historical adventure. 🙏🏽🤗👍🏽❤

I always wondered who the William was in the name of the Fort I am happy to note that it wasn't stinking Billy ( you know who I mean ) thanks again for the interesting content.
Amazing place. Blankety blank Orange and Co. and "Dr" johnson was one of the worst clowns and barbarians in history. Thanks for having the fortitude to go to places like this and give us the history.
Now, A memory has returned to me, BUT it might be mixed up!!!! Before it was fortified, back in the middle ages, it was called As Gearsden. Perhaps a native of Fort William will correct me. ,,,,old Tich.

There was more left than I had first imagined. From the road it's hard to see, walk down onto the beach and there's plenty there!
