Thank you so much. One upgrade I would really like is to add an interior light to the footwell as when its dark it would be a great addition. Any suggestions?
Looking forward to see what you do to stop / minimise the oil leaks. My Series 3 runs great but there is a trail of oil stains on the road leading to my driveway ...
Hahaha yes I think it will be like a dog chasing its tail. I think it has lot to do with it not being used for a while as it didn't leak that much while I was driving it every day to work etc
The cable from the ignition switch connects directly to one side of the coil and the output from the coil connects straight to the first glow plug. Hope this helps. Jamie
If one plug was to fail then the vehicle is still likely to start just not as well as if all were working. You can then test each plug and replace the failed one. Hope this helps. Jamie
Better access to the rear is always important.
Cant think of another incident where this doesn't apply 😁
Great channel👌 Are you planning further modifications to the interior?

Was wondering if there would be more stripping inside of cabin, like change of seats or replacing material to dashboard? Any electronic upgrades?

If there is one plug (wired in series) broken: What happens to the orange light that shines when glowing? Is it still shining?
Best regards
Hello there. No, if one plug fails then the circuit is broken so the light is on the same circuit and therefore will not work. Hope this helps 😊
@@jamiedowson6482 Yes! Thanks! :)
So what did you install in front of the resistor?

If they are wired in parallel, how will you know if there is a failure?

@@jamiedowson6482 thanks, that makes sense.
Shit that glow plug wiring in series desing and plugs from factory are pure shit if it is. Invented by Lucas? the Prince of darkness.
Hahaha I know!!! It is a bit poo. Bit the upgrade is relatively cheap and an easy install. Jamie
