Definitely liked the vid. I've been curious about how to, or if it was possible. I'm really new to airbrushing, in fact so new I haven't even used my airbrush yet. Opened the box and that's as far as I've got! But I really want to learn! Any tips or vidz on how/where to start? I don't even know if I have a good airbrush or not, it's a "Badger Professional Model 150" with some accessories.
Sorry to get back to you so late. We've been away from youtube for some time as we've recently redone our website (www.section8hobbies.com) The Badger 150 is a great brush. If is maintained and cleaned properly, it will last you many happy years. We will be posting some new vids very soon. Please stay tuned! :)
I always thought that the use of any type of paint except acrylic would eat or deform the plastic on models...what types of paint can I use without damage...thank you in advance
I am definitely going to try this. I have some krylon primer and doing this will definitely be worthwhile. What do you use to clean the airbrush after? Also, what do you use to thin? I guess the primers could be different depending on the company
I wonder how you guys can do with homemade wash! Like for panel lines?
airbrush is so much better than a can. Good video.

You can use good ol' fashioned lacquer thinner to thin AND clean the airbrush afterward. Glad you liked the vid'!
If you are using Krylon paints then clean and thin with lacquer thinner. I have been doing this for over 50 years. I'am 72
Im guessing the propellant dissipates and wont interfere with airbrushing?
@@DanielMartinez-cd3od you have to degas it, warm water helps, stir in pot with lid off till it stops bubbling
