Thank you. Those are just zip ties holding that brake pedal together because there was a lot of play between the parking brake pad and regular brake pad. I couldn't find only replacements for the pedal section. It seemed as though you had to buy the entire mechanism if you wanted it replaced and that was around $150 on ebay if I remember correctly.
What paint did you use to paint the body? Was it a professional sprayer or spray paint? And what primer? Could you list the steps required to get that finish? And did you paint the bumper and other plastic pieces? How did you get those looking so new?
@@mattstumpf692 The body was just scuffed/sanded and then sprayed with a base coat of color. I had a local automotive paint store make a spray can of a color used on Hitachi equipment(I just picked a grey out of a bunch of color samples). After the base color was sprayed on I clear coated it with SprayMax 2K Clear Glamour. It's a 2K clear that gives spray gun/professional results in a spray can. However, it's highly toxic so you must use a respirator. You can get the 2K on amazon for about $20 a can. The plastic bumper and black pieces were painted with Rustoleum truck bed liner which works excellent for the plastic pieces. Thanks for the comment!
what is the blue gauge next to the key switch on the dash, and where did you get it? Cart looks really good, I'm currently debating on what color to paint my ezgo. The cement grey looks really good.
That guage just shows the battery level as a percentage 0-100% charged. I used a color chip book to pick the color and it's actually Hitachi Grey but it looks just like cement. Thanks for watching

It's been a while but I think we had about $3,200 or so into parts/materials. Batteries and wheels/tires accounted for $1,800 of the cost.
