the bolt for steering didnt get tight, ran out of threads. rear u-bolts are Waaaayyyy to long, You'd thing for the price of most of these kits the parts would be right.

Did you forget to put the 2 washers plus the nut on top of the large driver side steering bolt at abour 4:16. or am I going nutz, lol
I wish I could do upgrades with my golf cart but it's hard to find parts because it's a 1991 Yamaha g8 36 volt

Mine has a mount made of aluminum that comes off the rear axle tube.

Front went smooth on my 03 gas txt. The rear is a different animal on mine. Do I remove the factory rubber mounted spring plate before installing the lift block? Once removed I’ve noticed a pin sticking up from the rear ended housing. Does that in align the block from bottom and the top spacer aligns by the spring bolt ? Ubolts up from bottom from what I’m seeing.

@@k.schr1398 I'm still waiting for a reply from Madjax...won't order this lift kit if it doesn't fit my '58. I picked this one up cheap and redid the wires and cables and a few other things. I call it my Roadster. Took off all the excess body and left the frame...goes like stink and a rocket to ride. Will be trading out the 6v batteries for three 12v. Did that to my Club Car and don't regret it.

i've noticed on a few lift install videos they always completely disconnect 1 leaf spring. any reason for that? seems like it wouldn't be necessary or is just a room thing?
Mitch Smith it needs to be reinstalled over the axel. The axel would be in the way if leaf not removed fully. Plus good time to swap out leaf bushings
Will this kit fit on a 1985 Exgo Marathon? I understand this is not a direct fit and i might have to make some modifications.
James, not without considerable modifications. Jake's Lift Kits makes some Marathon specific lifts if you want to look them up on Jakesliftkits.com
does this particular lift fit a 2015 TXT
I'm pretty sure this is for 2000 and below. If you look at the Rack and Pinion the 2001 and above have a different style then the 2000 and below years which changes everything and makes it not compatible.
whats the biggest tire can be put on golf cart without lift kit..could you just put like 3 inch lift kit to use like 12 inch tire i just think the bigger tire would ride so much better
A 22" x 11 x 12" tire will fit on a 3" or 4" lift kit for most models. The E-Z-Go TXT/RXV should be fine, the CC Precedent will need a lo pro lift block in addition to the 4" (to reduce tire scrub), and the Yamaha 4" will need some trimming on the rear tire wells.
Without lift kit would be a 20" AT tire for E-Z-Go and Yamaha, but CC Precedent would have scrubbing issues.
