As requested I put together this video to explain more of the settings for this new Canon R5C. In this tutorial I go over all the video settings from the first page of menu options step by step which is the camera setup. This section also covers the auto focus on this camera which is one of the first items beneficial to know getting your new camera setup for filming.

Great video man! I appreciate the walkthrough. I just got this camera and I LOVE it but the in depth walkthrough definitely helps a ton!
"Fine Increment" is actually useful if auto aperture is used. If enabled, when going from a dark to a light environment, the lens slowly stops down, rather than displaying a sudden, obvious-to-the-viewer darkening in large steps. It tries to mimic a slow, manual iris pull.

Shouldn't "Shockless WB" (aka white balance that doesn't shock) be "On" for the white balance to transition smoothly and not shock the viewer?

My brother bought the R5C because he does primarily video. I loved using it but with my still photography, I am finding the R6 is plenty of camera for my professional needs.

Yeah it’s been highly requested I’ve just been very busy with work. TH-cam doesn’t pay me like the big guys on TH-cam I’m not sure why the big guys don’t release videos like this… but yes I have every intention to release something just not sure when

How do you access the audio wav files when recording 120fps
I don’t think you can do that when shooting 120… I could be wrong though

The wattage refers to how much power the transformer can output under load, not that it outputs 87W. Generally speaking, it is better to use an over-rated transformer than an under-rated one. Specifically, P = I x V, which means power (watts) = current x voltage. The voltage rating is important and in this case means that the Mac PS can provide more current at the same voltage than the 30W PS at the same voltage and this is why the power (watts) is a greater value.

Yes I definitely plan on going over the audio settings I’m going to go over everything in the camera.. The audio will be most likely in part two or three in the next videos I put out

Hi! My biggest question is (because I can't find it anywhere) how to dual record in S&Q mode? I'm pretty sure that's possible, because I saw it in prereview video that will be that option and what's more important I can choose on which card (cf express or sd v90) I want to record it. So it's possible to record on both card, but I don't know how to record it on both at the same time...
Yes this is definitely possible which I will cover on my next video coming out soon … these options can be found in the “Recording/Media Setup” on page 1 and 3

@@sleepvisionstudio3884 … maybe it will only work in certain resolutions or frame rates. Did you try changing that up?
Yes, it doesn't work at all, 100fps or 50fps doesn't metter because it doesn't work anyway... 😞
11:25 - U got it wrong about Digital
IS. This mode doesn't give the weird warping corner-stuff. This 'defect' happens with IBIS, not with Digital IS. Other videos have clarified this.
I respectfully disagree. It still gives a somewhat weird warp. Try it out and test it for yourself. I have and its looks bad

Your explanation of Base ISO is not quite right. Setting it to auto is not the same as setting ISO to auto as you state later in the video.
