Ironically this was posted on my birthday and I’m just seeing it now. What a lovely late gift! I’ve been meaning to check out a few of these tricks and this got recommended.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial and your tutorial style. I wish they'd put more items in the atomic shop like sugar bombs, cram, ect. for our shelves.
Thank you! 😊 SAME! That would be so cool to have those kinds of items available to put on a shelf however we’d like. There’s ways using display cases, but it’s not the same!
Nice Tutorial! just an FYI, for the Floating door, no need to flame the door just swap the doorwall to a flat wall and then you can store the wall, I use that method with the floating bars to use the swinging bar doors for that Ole Timey Bar look
Thank you! I posted that in my pinned time stamp comment, breaking the door is just my way of doing it for when I make the “doorway” it allows me to get things super close to it but with how fast I sped up the video I forgot to mention that & didn’t have time so it’s just written down below 😊
amazing video. Your building videos always show me something new to try and I end up taking down my camp and starting fresh to give it the next level look and feel. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for taking your time to share the awesome content with all of us.
Want to add that Ive made a blue print of just the circle/roof and doo walls floating, to place on the top of any height circle building. The angled glass roof original, goes on the outside, the snapping onto a building inverts them. Instant "star" roof.
Yes this also works! This video was created by requests and I forgot to mention in the actual video that showing how the roofs were done was just highly requested and that they can also be blue printed 😊 I also have a blueprinted version with the roofs already on lol
Love your video. Lots of great tips and your presenting style is clear and easy to watch. My only suggestion ( and this is a reflection on my attention span) is it might have been better split into several shorter videos each dealing with particular aspects, as there is so much info in this I'm never going to remember it all and because there is so much info it will take me a while to find exactly what I'm looking to rewatch. Alternatively you could time stamp it and list those. Still a great job and I look forward to your future videos.
Thank you for your feedback! 😊 Since there is a lot in this video, I definitely planned to time stamp, just didn’t have the time when I wanted to do it after the holiday chaos but I’m working on doing that ASAP cause I know it’s a serious pain lol 😊 Some of my future tutorials will have their own videos because some techniques are quite advanced and will need an entire video dedicated to them! Thank you for watching! Check back soon for the time stamps!
If you don't have the catwalks, just place a foundation down in front of the wall to be doubled, place the second wall, remove the extra foundation, and boom, double walls.
Subbing to help you out as well as LOVE your voice so soft and love passion and excitement you portray. Just think about mic being louder, clearer. nearer and not overpowered by music. Its comes with editing and setup but, you will get it :) Where is your accent from btw ?
I’m fairly new to building so everything here was fab. The biggest thing I’ll take away for my current build is moving the pesky metal posts - I knew there had to be a way 😝 Also that the light has to be green on the pressure plate. I had a bad glitching day today with only one thing working and now I think I know why. Thanks for so much info 😍
I’m so glad I could help! Everything about this build mode is so pesky! A lot of people will either stand on the pressure plate or place a mannequin on it and I think hooking it up to power and just watching out for that green light is so much easier lol! You’re very welcome 😊
@@galacticbuilds yeah - it doesn’t help that I’ve been practising building in the vaults where the rules are completely different 🤦♀️ Had a great morning though implementing tips from the vid. The only thing persisting to allude me is the pillars - placed on mat on edge of foundation, blueprint made of both but when I try to place it down it either says it’s floating (even though it’s blue) or the pillar snaps to the middle point of the side of the foundation leaving the mat behind. I’ll keep trying because I feel like I’m missing something really obvious 😜😬 (glitching in went fabulously and I even did the lamp in the black tyre rose 😍😍)
@@aussie_kitty_kat The vaults are definitely fun to build in! I actually only have one built up that I haven’t released on TH-cam yet. I have a couple more tutorials coming out here soon so let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to feature! I’m happy to help. For those posts, blueprinting them is pesky! It’s not you lol! I had to try it a few times before I got one that worked out. There is actually another method for placing those that I’m going test out and if it works I’ll put it in my next tutorial real quick! The lamp in the black roses is a favorite of mine I love it lol! I spend a lot of my time just merging things into each other to see what I can come up with!
@@galacticbuilds I’ll keep and eye out for the new vid if it works and in the meantime will persist with the posts, now I know they’re fiddly to get right and it’s not just me. I don’t have the coveted glass walls so like the idea of using them to bring the outside in 😍
@@aussie_kitty_kat So I am sitting here messing with these posts and I tried several different methods and for some very strange reason none of them except my original blueprint that I show in this video works! They all snap away from the rug/item. I wonder if there’s been a secret patch. I’ll ask my viewers in my upcoming video and maybe the building community can come together and figure this out lol! And dang I really they would bring back those glass walls for everyone, they’re such a staple! :(
Great tutorial video. I knew most of it but picked up a few things. Definitely going to use the trick to place posts anywhere. One of the better trick tutorial videos I've seen though. Your presentation and commentary make it a fun video. This will definitely be a great video for people who don't know these tricks. 👍👍
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your feedback! 😊 Blueprinting the posts and rugs can be a pain, but the outcome is totally worth it! I wanted to start my tutorial series with these basics and then gradually move to the more advanced techniques 😊
This is the second video I've watched where a generator is powering the pressure plate. What's the purpose of the generator? I've merged a lot and never needed a generator connected to the pressure plate just the mannequin standing on the side of it.
Thank you! And no worries at all. Being able to float walls allows you to do a lot of different things, it essentially loosens up the restricted creativity in the Fallout 76 build mode. I have a second tutorial coming out this week where I show a couple instances where floating walls would be necessary to create certain things like a TV 🙂 Also, as for floating things using the camp module it’s basically the same thing. In this video I use the camp module to make custom kitchen cabinets.. but with a little creativity you can use this method to create all kinds of things 🙂
Depends on what level you are! Always make sure you have Hard Bargain perk maxed out when buying/selling. Have your camp placed in a easy to travel to location. Make sure your vending machine is stocked at all times with as many reasonably priced items as possible. 🙂 Junk sells pretty fast.
@@ben_denis4459 Any extra junk you have available, for sure. Junk that sells the most will likely be building materials and ammo materials. So lead, steal, copper, gunpowder, acid, etc. I sell most of that stuff and it flys out of my vendor. I also sell a lot of plans. If you’re selling ammo, don’t overprice or it likely won’t sell. You may get someone to buy shotgun shells or .45 for 2 caps each but I will always do 1 cap each
@@galacticbuilds ok thanks good thing in one of my camps I have a copper and steel deposit and in my other one I have a junk and lead deposit, also I think plastic might be a good one because you need that for alot of things like bulking materials and making armour and weapons ect
@@galacticbuilds you welcome. Its true ur content is easy to understand that make it much easier but how do i create a privat team? Sry to bother you with that
@@miss_kunimitsu7565 no bother at all! While you’re not on any team, you’ll open up the social tab and go to your friends. You’ll find the friend you want to be on a team with, and scroll over their name and hit “invite to team”. From there they will accept your invite and your team will be private (no one will be able to join the team without a request sent to them and you’ll be able to build in each other’s camps)
