Smoked Pork Butt on the Weber Smokey Mountain

  • Smoked Pork Butt was on the menu for Labor Day 2019!
    Got a 9.63 lb Pork butt at my local Kroger. Rubbed down with the Meatchurch Honey Bacon BBQ rub and the Plowboys Yardbird BBQ rub.
    Smoked on my Weber Smokey Mountain 18.5 over Kingsford blue and chunks of hickory and cherry wood for 10 hours at 250 degrees.
    Used my Bubba’s Smokin Hog BBQ Carolina style sauce as a mop sauce every couple of hours.
    This Pork butt turned out great for some pulled pork sandwiches and wonderful Brunswick Stew that my wife made with the leftovers!
