I tried the batter suggestion and it worked! For about 10 mins until I tried to change the CD and it failed again! Well, at least I know what the problem is! Thx!
I think the other device that's plugged in on the back of the radio is the DVD player that it's mounted on the ceiling for FM sound, I use 89.7fm to listen to it while the kids watch on the screen. Thanks for the video!
So is it this simple to swap out a factory multi disk CD player for a alpine double din CD player without a tv screen ? It's the same size. Would my factory plugs fit in my new stereo ?
Is there a name or model number for those white connectors/ wire harnesses that plugged into the back? I just bought a new double din stereo cause it has bluetooth and all that stuff. I just am at a loss as to how it can be wired.
Thank you for this video it was helpful for my upgrade. I also had issues with the cd once i just pulled the radio fuse for a few mins and that worked for me.
please, if possible, make a video for pre 2007 toyota tundra double cabs. This video is helpful due to the fact that the dash is exact but there are only a few things that can be done with a pre-2007 tundra double cab. I'm very interested in upgrading my entire sound system since it is very weak. I have a '06 SR5 double cab. Thanks.
Thanks for this video. I have a question regarding the direct input adapter. Which one do you recommend? Manufacturer and part number would be very helpful. A quick google search came up with METRA TurboWire part number 70-8113.
Thank you for the instructions, it was very helpful, however, as a female, you could have mention the # or type of the screw driver you used. I couldn't see. Overall 👌🏾👍🏽
I have a 2008 sequoia and I unhook my battery now I have no radio play no sound Naftin radio was working just fine before battery went dead so I went to buy a new battery took out the old one put in the new one now no sound
Perfect, just what I needed to know. Good instruction & direction through the removal process, clear audio/video; thank you for the upload.
My stereo powers on but there's no speaker sound I'm going to try a new amplifier.. good video straight to the point
I though that the AMP was underneath the center console... Your saying that it's beneath the head unit? Can you please clarify.

Thanks. Very helpful. Really wasn't that hard and this was just what I needed. Took about 2 hours start to finish.
And by the way, there's no need to take the tire off. Turn the wheel all the way to the right and there's enough room to reach under.

Title includes "amp removal". Video does not include amp removal. If you do not do it, do not include it in your title. Thanks
