Amen! I had to call off my wedding a couple of months before my wedding date. I was embarrassed and thought that people would talk about me. But it got to the point where they didn't matter, I couldn't let fear of what people thought make me make a big mistake that would affect my life and my daughter's life! I had to trust God and do what was best for me. One of the best decisions I ever made!

Most definitely a blessing. When I was caring for my dad during his last days in his journey it helped me to be bond and be closer to my dad. During that time I was able to forgive him for the years he missed, be by his side when he most needed me. Plus show him I still care and that he has someone there for him so he wouldn't be by himself. I had so much unspeakable peace when my dad transitioned and now he is resting.

Yo! Kev hit it on the nail when he spoke about the changes in your spouse. And Mrs. KevOnStage did as well. You have to choose your partner everyday. There’s temptation EVERYWHERE! So, who will you choose? Every young couple I know that just got married, I give them this advice. Are you willing to except that new and improved person that will changed over the years? And don’t forget to talk about the hard stuff. ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep GOD FIRST in your marriage.

I just wanna say thank you for that guy standing and saying that men do think about love and having a family. Yes they do. Also I want to say that it is true, that a man will not truly look for a wife until he has all “ducks in a row”… because he wants to provide for her. When he has accomplished and his business is in order then he will truly hunt. I’m talking about real man. This was a very good conversation.

    - I'm just going to jump straight into it. I am very thankful that Melissa was there to speak on the topic of women loving conditionally in regards to the guy who said this rhetoric. I get so tired of dudes like this with this mindset always throwing this type of stuff around and painting women with a broad brush as if women all think the same, move the same, or want the same things. This is very funny to me simply because it's always the dudes that really don't have much to offer other than a dream being sold or wanting a woman for only external things such as physical appearance, physical intimate sessions, & other low vibrational wants & requests that have no true value when it comes to the things that set the foundation of a strong, healthy relationship.
    - In addition, not only did he paint women as one, he also displayed the "Red Pill Community" mindset, allowing himself to wallow in the perception that women only want you for monetarily important things, which is the reason they are unable to find women that accept them for them. This entire statement is a lie. The problem isn't women not accepting a man when he doesn't have anything to offer; it's the external requests and continued stereotypes that are placed upon women that either don't want you or women that you know don't hold any true value when it comes to building a healthy, long-lasting relationship yet still choose to chase after these types.
    - The problem is that dudes like him want the girls who don't want them back. Dudes like him are the epitome of what taking no accountability looks like; therefore, everything that goes wrong in their lives is deemed to be because of what a woman won't accept. Let's stop spreading this lie that women don't accept y'all when in reality black women are in first place when it comes to loving a man at his lowest, leaving her to carry most of the burden while you reside in the hurt that happened to you in grade school that you still hang onto as an adult. Black women are in first place and are the reason for a lot of these men's success today. If we're going to address it, let's address it correctly.
    - Black men like him are the reason black women are tired. Tired of being used as punching bags, emotional support, financial support, and baggage claim There isn't a day going by without a story being told about how a black woman has held a black man down, and when he got to where he wanted to be in life, he dropped her like a bad habit and got with someone that we all know wouldn't have accepted him when he didn't have sh*t. The same ones that y'all crave validation from are the same ones that end up using you for only what you can provide to her, such as resources, exterior benefits, & everything else that they can squeeze out of y'all in order to get to someone with a bigger check.
    - The moment Melissa held the mirror up to him, he automatically went into that's just a "woman's" perspective. A typical response from a black man who thinks at a basic level in order to refuse to take responsibility & accountability for their own actions in which they participate when it comes to their own demise If everything is a woman's fault, then who allowed it to be that way in order for the outcome to just be her fault? That mentality he has is too tainted and toxic to the world when young boys are listening to stuff like that and thinking that there are no real women out here anymore. Y'all never give the black woman who loved you and your stinky draws credit for the BS she tolerated and put up with over the years of your lack because you refuse to step up for her.
    - Black men like him don't want the love of a black woman; they want the love of the ones that don't look like them and want them to carry the love that black women carry when they are loving on them at their lowest. Black women are the epitome of what unconditional love is, but it's never reciprocated. We're not going to keep hearing this BS from dudes like him and going on a panel and saying this sh*t to the world as if it's facts. If a Black woman dared to want more out of life, relationships, or anything in general, she'd be considered a gold digger.
    - Black women aren't tired for no reason. They are tired, and I speak for the sisters, who can relate to this post in every way. Then what wrapped this entire comment up was that when he was asked what he had going on in life, he literally said "nothing." Case closed! I could care less about the name he carries. When you speak like this, make sure you know what you are talking about and that you are actually working on yourself and changing the toxic patterns you have when it comes to chasing and choosing women that hold no value. Stop trying to play Super Save a 304 and be honest with yourself about the things you need to change.
    - Stop putting the blame and pointing the finger at women and look within. You automatically remove yourself when you speak like this because nothing can ever be just one person's fault. Guys don't like to take accountability for the things they do. Face the mirror and actually work on self-love, and ask yourself why you are trying to get with people that don't want you or only displaying that they only want what you can bring monetarily. Just like how you all try to make women see their wrongs, make sure you are aware of yours too.
    - Black women, never forget who you are or the love that God instilled in you. On behalf of self Hatinqq BM, I truly apologize that this is what you have to deal with on a daily basis. You are not perfect, but you are perfect for the right person. Go where you are valued, & remember, you will always be the standard. 🥷

You know what’s crazy… the black men that are interested in me always want me to build them up and support them… they out here trying to be an singer or actor approaching 50 got some big dream, wanna quit there job to be famous and have a woman hold them down. I don’t even know know these men online, but when I support something or like it, they try to come at me and they act like I’m the answer to them making it.
This independent artist has the audacity to tell me, not ask, tell me to submit his song to a gospel artist that I do t even know. And I’m like wow 😮 coming from someone that couldn’t support what I did. But kept coming to me for support and feedback so I cut him off. Dude was attracted to me so that was his way of getting back at me for not liking him.

I can identify with Lexi, I saw the red flags before I got married and ignored them. I felt horrible about all the money my parents spent and didn't call it off. On the day of my wedding rehearsal, my dad asked me if I was sure and if I wanted to call it off it was fine. Needless to say the marriage "officially" ended 15 years later, however, it ended before we said the "I dos". 😢

The Q&A section at the end: the fact that it seems no one wanted to say is that it's not that the Black Christian men won't show up, it's that the Black men are really NOT Christians! Maybe a few were raised in church, or were taken here and there, but they are not engaged in their faith and living it out. I wish they hadn't interrupted the man who stood up and said that he wasn't thinking about marriage and what a wife could add to his life until he really got saved, and he's 38.

Dad was always the one to give to generations of our family, and God blessed me to have a husband who allowed me to go stay with my Dad while he was ill (Mom passed on two years prior) as my husband financially covers our household. He is a king.

This was another great session for singles. At the end of the video, I felt that the last gentleman made it clear that he was seeking a serious relationship. If a man is not seeking a serious relationship, he is generally not going to talk about it. He is just going to get to it. Some of the men like Jonathan McReynolds seem to not want to talk about getting into a relationship because they possibly have too many to choose from so they are overwhelmed and choose to pass. If these type of men who have many women pursuing them, it seems they remain aloof when it comes to being a part of dating convos or conferences. In essence, women who want a relationship should avoid men who do not want a relationship hence their actions of avoidance.

He found it hard to be with the version of me that wanted more from him and was prepared to help him get there. When I realized that his growth was a God problem and one I could not fix I had to let go. Because his in ability to grow resulted in damage to the kids and myself. What she said about the Holy Spirit around the 59 mins mark is on point. The amount of times the Holy spirit gave me a mini counselling in my own relationship. Listen y'all, do NOT limit the Holy Spirit, He is called a Helper for a reason. I used to think the Holy Spirit was only there for prayer, fasting and all things holy. It's only when I started watching marriage sermons with Christian's leaders I realised how important it was to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit to help with your love life.
