It's funny how in the Bible how Rachel, Rebecca, and Ruth were minding their own business doing whatever they were doing not purposefully trying to be found by a man. Favor was upon their lives and God Himself ordered their steps to the right place at the right time to be found.

That was my 1st thought, and I will say those very things to others. It's NOT biblical. GOD led Eve to Adam and then presented her to him. Adam recognized that part of himself that God removed now being in woman, then Adam chose her.
Abraham's servant led Rebekah to Isaac. He didn't even take her to Abraham. Where do we see that before in scripture. When God led woman to Adam. We are seeing this once again with the servant and Rebecca. We now have an example that has now happened twice in God's word. The leading of a woman to her spouse.
The situation with Ruth was the need for a kinsmen redeemer. It guaranteed the continuation of Naomi's family line. From that family line came David, more importantly Christ.
We eat up, take in, absorb non biblical doctrine. Now days, the body is full of it. We need to stop it with this foolishness and get back to the truth of God's word.
I heard a lady say just today... we now want God's word to conform to 'Us' verses coming into alignment and bowing our knees to God's word.
Thank you, Constance, for speaking truths of what the bible states. When people present foolishness to me, I will say give me book, chapter, verse (s) and biblical context.

Ruth 2 Gleans in Boaz' Field
1 ¶ And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.
2 And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

I love the comment that the first lady said about "getting out in these streets." You can pray all you want for the man of your dreams but at some point you will have to take action outside of church, whether it's joining a gym or joining a dating app, etc. You're not gonna meet anybody without taking action towards it. Even the Bible says: "Faith without works is dead". So, have faith and pray to God that He'll send you a great godly man but after you pray: Get in those streets!

Man, I went visit a church, they had a singles ministry, I avoided for 2 months, finally I went. Maaaaan it was 11 men to 89 women and this meeting. By Thursdays bible class and Sundays morning service 8am. I had 7 women claiming I was their husband. Never met them, never conversation with them. I had phone numbers pass to me by ushers and Deacons , Noted on my car, in my seat after getting up for offering call. The attention scared 😱 me because I didn’t know who they or where all this attention is coming from. I went ghost for 6 months. I finally came back but just for morning service 8am 😉.

I wish black women would stop being so desperate and go outside the race and get men of other races and then they would have a Equal dating pool. Black women act like they don't get it that some black men do not want to date black women and also that there is not enough good bm to go around due to various issues in our community.

In my opinion her best choice should have been trust God and lean not on your own understanding, but that's between her and God.... The church is still the bride of Christ ...so lets mindset how we reference the church, we build up not join with the unbeliever and knit pick the church....the church is a group of believers doing their best to serve God with the resources of the word of God...we should be *patient* with the church or the bride of Christ ....just my opinion...

It's not funny when women choose to have children with men their family don't even know. It's become way too common and definitely shouldn't be spoken of in folly with "saved people" who should be a better example than worldly people. Not cool. A man and life with is now an afterthought in your 40s. I wish KS was still here. No your sons should not be responsible for you in your old age, they should have lives with wives to take care of.

Most people's families do not take responsibility for finding spouses for their children, if they did, this topic wouldn't even be relevant. In many cultures parents rely on their children to take care of them in old age - and it's primarily women that take care of the daily needs of elderly relatives. This is the same whether a woman is married or not.

KS was a menace to society.
He perpetuated the same misogynistic rhetoric that kept women in 50 year long, unhealthy marriages.
He advocated for women to put up with cheating, He said women shouldn't believe their child if a man SA them, he believed in husbands physically abusing their wife under the guise of "discipline", he never gave men the advice to live as MORALLY as he imposed on women. And he died being "serviced" by the same type of women he so-called dispised.

Tough conversations nobody wants to have:
    1. That it may not be Lord's will for you to get married aka Dear Future me and not wifey.
    2. About finance and not starting your marriage in debt like 67% of Americans even though finances is the #1 cause of divorce.

Yes, and how much of that debt is from time-wasting college degrees?
