Im 16 and im definitely considering one of these for my first vehicle, i really want to learn stick and my dad said he’ll teach me so all i need is to save up.
My first was 15 frontier v6 auto put that truck through a lot never had any problems. Got t boned few years ago but I kinda want a manual 4 banger now they look so fun
Great truck. Manual shifts better than many sports cars. Too bad only five percent are Manual. 2.5 litre is 19 city, 27 highway, 22 average. Only negative is its large U turn radius. The screen is standard equivalent beginning in 2016.
You’re 100% right you this trucks are made to last and way cheaper than Toyota I love this trucks I got the first model 05 four doors with 170 k miles and still drives like day one love it love it again thank you for sharing enjoy your baby
It’s really disappointing that Nissan stopped making the stick shift! I would go get a brand new one with a stick if it were possible. But instead, I’m going to have to find a used one.
great trucks i have a 2015 frontier s, auto tranny and I love it! very dependable, Use to have a 1990 hardbody 4X4 4 cyl also, that I regret selling long time ago, this one stays with me!
You got yours around the same time I got mine I got mine in June I just have the automatic version 2.5 I got tow mirrors put on mine but they are very nice love it I also did some custom headlight work LED lighting on the mud flap I did custom Halo fog lights on mine with the Halo
HAHAHA! Great video. I laugh because I bought a nearly identical NISMO shifter knob for my 2009 King Cab Frontier 4WD SE. Mine has the V6, but I need to test drive the Frontier 2.5L manual. If merge/passing/uphill interstate acceleration is good, I'd rather have the 4cyl manual than the 6cyl I have. Real happy w/mine though. 78k miles right now.
Get some Magnaflow exhaust, Flow master or Banks Power exhaust you'll love it! I got the 2018 Frontier S king cab same 2.5L 4 cylinder Engine with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission. But I lowered it, then my 2016 Frontier Pro4X VQ-40 4.0L V6 6 Speed Manual Transmission I kept it on a stock height I didn't lifted because it will slow down, but I added Sumo Springs on 3 of my Frontiers. I got 2010 Nissan Frontier Nismo 4.0L V6 6 Speed Manual Transmission as well and now @ 718,900miles in the Odometer. And it still driving great. I modded the Nismo frontier and put some Garret Twin turbocharger and lowered it and turned it into a drag and drifter truck.
@@jaredreyes7383 no, my Frontier S Kingcab 2.5L 4cyl is still stock factory height. Just only my Frontier Nismo 4.0L V6 that is lowered I built it for Drag racing and Drifting
I had a 19' Fronier S Manual as well. I waited 3 three weeks to have it shipped to the dealership I did business with. I traded it in a year and a half ago for a 23' Frontier. Watching this video back makes me miss that 19' Frontier a bit. Do you think you could do a driving video in this truck without any talking for the pure driving sounds?

I love that thing. Especially standard transmission. I love it
Great trucks, started with a 91 hardbody, an 01 ,07 &now 13 S . Cant kill them and very dependable!
Thanks buddy your video really really helped me make up my mind. I hope I get my Nissan 2019 5 speed manual also
Did you get it? 4WD?

Y la 4.0 cuantos da por litro?
Yeah the turning radius is the only complaint I have about this truck. Still driving it after 5 years with 85k miles and no issues at all.

I remember when you let me drive it that was a blast to drive!

did your try adding the Factory Tow harness? its dirt cheap from the nissan parts counter all plug and play. comes with a nice 7 way plug

Check my videos. I put a Flowmaster 10 series muffler with a 3" tip and it sounds great!

Yes. I was planning on doing it here soon. I just need a mount for my phone.
Nice video. Really want one of these in a manual
Thanks ...great truck
We had a 2005 one when we lived in a small town in Utah but it was a king cab and it was in a brown color.
Also how good is the gas mileage on these?
I get about 24 average in this truck. It’s pretty good for a small four cylinder 2wd stick shift truck.
@@AMmuscle442 That’s good.
@@AMmuscle442 I wish I was able to find a stick I have a 16 S too
On my opinion it's the best
Great driving video
What is that knob or dial that's constantly spinning on the right vent.
That's an air freshener that looks like a record player. Just a gimmicky thing I bought.
Does they offer the 2019 standard transmission in a 4WD V6?
They do but it's a 6 speed
What’s the Highway mpg ?
Would you recommend to someone who is looking to learn to drive a Manual?
Absolutely these trucks are easy to drive
How do they do on road trips? Can it cruise at 80? What rpm is it at at 80?
Yeah it can definitely handle road trips. It cruises about 3000 RPM at 80.
hi just wanted to know what the name of your shift knob is, it’s really cool.
It's a genuine NISMO shift knob that I bought from ebay and had sent in from Japan.
Great video! I'm considering a nissan frontier and your video is informative. I have one question. Why do you go to neutral before you downshift?
I wish I had gotten this one instead of my SV Midnight Edition.
Why
Anyone ever tell you that you sound like Tom Hanks?
No, but I take that as a compliment.
I bought mine in 2019 with 21k and now I’m at 90k
Nothing wrong with these trucks, but I've always thought these had the ugliest steering wheels.
The only Nissan I would advise someone buy. Everything else is crap. Former Nissan owner. Never again.
Completely agree
