    The frontiers are the most reliable cheap basic truck with Toyota reliability. Interchangeable parts is easier so I’m glad they didn’t change body design till 2021

    Positives- direct steering, excellent gear shift action, good gas mileage, quiet interior, good ride quality, solid body, good factory stereo, comfortable seats, 19city 27hwy, quiet a/c, easy to work on 2.5 litre. Negative - big turning circle makes U-turns risky. Not much power on hilly highways but fortunately you can downshift from 5th to 4th or 3rd. Top speed about 106 mph. 0-60 mph mid 10 seconds.

    I have that exact version 2.5 2019 and they have done a few things touchscreen cruise control backup camera. Looking at this one it's so basic oh my God no cruise control or nothing on the steering wheel😂. Glad Nissan did do a few little changes over the years

    i got this exact truck, change out the radio and rip out the muffler is what i did. but this thing can drive through a swamp due to its light weight. ive fallen into 6 4 foot potholes in the woods and i had no problem getting out. with some off road or all terrain tires you can blast through wet clay. i tell ya i beat up this thing

    In Europe they updated the Navarra (which the Frontier is called in most places outside of America) sooner, in 2015 I think. That generation, however, was notorious for its frame braking. In Europe, these trucks have always been sold mostly with a 2.5l diesel -- absolutely bulletproof engines and got pretty good torque to pull heavy stuff.

    Wow, this is the first time I see this configuration, because in Russia they are all with climate control, four glass receivers, but there was also a "poor" configuration. How did it differ from the maximum? There was no climate control, only air conditioning))))

      @@Mojo32 have you changed the clutch fluid?

    • @Mojo32
      @Mojo32 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Art_of_Ramon I have not changed any of those things, although recently I've been starting to contemplate it and research the differential looks real easy as there is a drain plug in the bottom. The transmission has one too I've found, but I'm not sure yet how to fill it back up, the tube for checking the levels seems too small for filling 🤔 but like I said, I recently started to think about it so I haven't looked too hard yet. Not sure which weight of fluid to use either, as the manual isn't clear enough (to me at least) about it.
      Is the clutch fluid change similar to power steering fluid change? I did change it out using a turkey baster and turning the wheels back and forth, then the new fluid.

    • @Art_of_Ramon
      @Art_of_Ramon 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mojo32 the clutch fluid is the same as the brake fluid, DOT3?. I changed the power steering a few months ago.
