It's been said in the comments already, but The Crawling is pretty great man. You hit it on the head that they're more of a doom/death band.

Secondly, the only releases I'm familiar with here are Impurist (which I own), The Crawling, Dripping Decay and Septage. I've seen Vaticinal Rites mentioned, but not checked them out yet. Plenty of other stuff I need to get stuck into, as always!

I have only heard a few of these so i have some stuff to investigate. Glad your enjoying Ashes You Leave and one I have been really getting into lately is Vincent Crowley - Beyond Acheron. Top quality Doomy Blackened heavy metal with lots of riffs and loads of solos. Take care Liam.

Hi Liam! Ashes You Leave is a band I havent heard of in donks. Good to hear about the gig with the Crawling mate. Andy the singer/guitarist hasnt deviated from the vision he had in the 90s. Always had the same musical foundation/ influences, no matter what project he was doing. Its good to see his vision really bear fruit with the Crawling! Hes a driven bloke for sure. @TheDeathDoomMetalHead You're welcome mate. I'm sorry to hear your mental health problems keep occurring, I know it's a hard thing to get out of. Haha that's fair enough man, very easy to be distracted and not feel like making videos. I've been super busy with learning to drive, and getting through recent album pickups, I haven't been making as many videos as I would have liked. But there's no pressure to make consistent videos anymore, I'll do it when I feel like it. I'm sure the same is for you too.

Haha you're like me and find that time just flies by on here! It's actually only just started to warm up over here. Mostly been raining last few weeks into summer. My time has been mostly with the kids or just enjoying an evening of silence haha! Cheers for watching mate

I have that Ashes you Leave album, have had it since it came out too.
It's great but also a complete clone of early MDB! Not a bad thing though haha
@@TheDeathDoomMetalHead Its not at all, although I would not call it a complete clone, definitely a heavy influence. They obviously had way more female vocals, and that Australian scene in general had its own thing going on with Chalice and Virgin Black amongst others. No doubt they were MDB doom more than Death or Funeral though !
