If the Fate characters are meta or offer something interesting/unique that other characters can't do, then it's worthwhile to save pulls just for that.
Best plan is to pull for Sunday then save all jades till Collab, as Collab characters might be op and they are limited (asuka in hi3rd was never rerun)

My thoughts regarding 3.0 1-We may get more 4 star units that are of the path of Remembrance. 2-Aeglea could be added to the Standard banner, Hoyo whenever launches a new archetype either adds the first character of said archetype to the standard banner or makes them purchasable in a character shop. In Genshin, the first Dendro character was Tighnari, and he got added to the standard banner after his promotional banner ended. 3. When it comes to value, I will like to see what Remembrance is able to bring to the table before I pull for anyone. 4. My goal is still Fugue, and if not Fugue, Herta.
Love her design. She has heavy inspiration from Greek myth, a combination of "The fates" the 3 sisters that weave the fate of every human. One to weave the silk of destiny, one to spin the silk and one to cut and end life. She also takes inspiration from king midas with all of her gold motif given he was cursed for his greed to make everything he touches gold, ans finally the titan of fire prometheos who betrayed the Olympian gods and stole fire for humanity after helping the Olympians win the titanomachy. Brilliant design.

Fugue is extremely on top of my list with Vertical Investment like come on I've been waiting for Tingyun comeback for like a year and now we eating well as a Tingyun Main and she's my favorite character in HSR and one of the main reasons why I joined in the first place. As for Sunday E0S1 since he's Harmony so he'll be OP and I'm a bit lacking in the Harmony aspect so yea. The Herta is a must-pull, Herta is in my top 5 and like She's an Emanator so her kit will no doubt be OP since we already have an OP Emanator and that's Acheron. I'll be keeping an eye on Aglaea since I love the Greek Mythology and the Classical Era and I like her design but I'll make my decision after taking into account my jade savings (and my wallet) after 2.7

He's literally going to the architect of a new play style. HSR is gonna make him a tier 0 Harmony unit. Ruan Mei has break teams, and Robin has follow-up teams. He's gonna be a star Harmony character for at least the first half of 2025. Get him at all cost! You won't regret it. Also, can someone loan me some jades? It's getting expensive out here!
Excited for “THE HERTA” and Agleae. I can’t wait to see how hsr devs cook with remembrance and idk why but i get the feeling of a new game mode like moc,pf, and as for remembrance. And maybe remembrance 4star unit?

Her outfit looks similar to Himeko’s to me. Himeko has the same golden leaves as part of her outfit the same as Aglaea. I wasn’t excited for upcoming characters so much until now. The Herta seems cool but if she requires other characters that I don’t have to function optimally then I’m not sure about her either. But Aglaea bringing a new path and seeming to have links, at least stylistically, to Dr. Ratio and Himeko makes me hopeful that we get a fun new path to play around with and also some fun character connection with Himeko so it seems like she might be tempting me both from a character perspective and a play style perspective. I kinda want them all though. I’m usually f2p but maybe I’ll treat myself for Christmas.

After playing FFXIV Myths of the Realm raids, I call it Ag-lye-ah, but either way, she is a beauty. Space Greece has my attention so much more than even Penacony did, because the potential is so high for all the mythos and legends transcribed into new characters in Hoyo's way.
Aglaea is also holding a flame. Im thinking this may actually be Himeko. Remembrance is all about memories, outside of game mechanics. Maybe this new world were gonna visit, or Black Swan, unlocks memories in Himeko that transform her.
For me, Sunday is top priority which I'm currently guaranteed. Then the next target is The Herta. I know you don't need 5* Limited Erudition character for clearing PF where 4* Herta and Himeko can 3* it already but I want to have a designated "powerful and reliable" limited erudition character. Hopefully The Herta can fulfill this role and I love her design.

Well, I want to pull for Aglaea (I'm betting on "AG-lee-uh" as the pronunciation for now) because her design looks fantastic, and a new playstyle is always fun. But I don't really have other summon-archetype characters to go with her (except Lingsha?). I'm not pulling Sunday (I don't know if I could manage to pull both and I really don't like Sunday's design or personality either way). And I won't be able to use Remembrance MC until we get a replacement for HMC in Firefly teams. So for now I am thinking I will only be pulling THE Madam Big Hat in 3.0, and probably nobody else between now and then (just drained my jades pulling E0S1 Acheron). But Grimdark Tingyun will be tough to skip, foxian ladies usually have top-notch designs and she's no exception so far.

I have been playing for over 6 months now. My advice would be to always go for the newer units as they will be more relevant to the in game content and help you with clearing it.
iv saved since firefly got about 20+ tickets and 40k jades i dont think i can afford to build an entire new team, however i may get THE herta to help in Pf since my teams are E2 acheron hyper carry and E2 firefly break. oh almost forgot dot ( like hoyo did)
Fugue and Herta are my primary concern, after those I plan on saving for the fate collab. The summon meta doesn’t sound as appealing in my book, as long as I can clear content I’ll be happy to save and wait.

I know for a fact that I’m going for Sunday because Harmony characters usually introduce a brand new archetype & are generally broken beyond belief. No clue what Fugue does, but if Aglaea introduces a new play style, say Summon focused like Topaz/Numby, I’d rather save my jades for Aglaea than waste them on Fugue. As for Herta…well I’ve already got her 4* version built! 😅

If we look at the Greek theme, her name is probably pronounced as Agla-ya, not Agl-ee-a. Aglaya is a Greek name ἀγλαΐα which means beauty and shine. Although, for some reason, in English we can find a translation of her name as Aglaea (/əˈɡliːə/) or Aglaia (/əˈɡlaɪə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀγλαΐα. So could be both
for future proofing the only character to get is sunday, bc harmony = broken, and well see with teasers if theres a new summon character better than aglaea. thats only my opinion though, pls keep that in mind!!!
I honestly state that if someone skips 3.0 characters..especially the one who's actually from path of remembrance,then ig players will miss on a lot of value,since its 3.x version and some other characters get outdated a bit too,in my opinion
Ever since I became aware of this character I have been PRAYING that she had a sort of regal look to her, think I can say guaranteed Aglaea is the most regal and prettiest character I have seen in this game Will be pulling after E1S1 Sunday
No cap, Aglaea might be THE prettiest woman in Star Rail and that's saying a lot because we have such stunning beauties like Black Swan, Kafka, Himeko, Ruan Mei, Robin and Jade.
I wish they would give players time to build some jade before releasing all this stuff. Like why can't we have a 2.8 and 2.9 before 3.0 comes up? I am hoping Rememberance isn't necessary for new content or so broken it basically becomes necessary
I'm sucker for the Ancient Greek aesthetic in general and I'm far too curious about the Remembrance path to skip her. (I have heard of the leaks about the Remembrance path but I take leaks with a massive grain of salt until things are officially shown off). Sorry THE Herta as cool as you are you are no longer my priority. Hopefully I can get her on rerun. I will say if Amphoreus is Greek themed I'm in trouble from a design point of view. I'll want everyone lol.
I'll be honest I'm very unsure.where I'll be going. Every single one of the upcoming characters is amazing design-wise, but at the same time none of them really stands out for me as a must-pull (yet?). I wonder if finding every option interesting but not actively wanting any of them is a good or a bad thing in a gacha game?! - Sunday: his persona is underwhelming. I'm not pulling purely on vibes, but they do play a huge role and, well, when you compare him to his sister who is just such a genuinely good, loving and hardworking person he can't help but lose out even though in a vacuum he's obviously not a bad guy though he does seem to value individuality very little. - Fugue: great design, but who is she? We know literally nothing about her because we only met the fake. Hard to get excited about a character without any knowledge about them. I might throw a few pulls at her if she can debuff for Acheron but won't go out of my way unless 2.7 story gives us a lot (or if her kit works amazingly well in multiple teams). - Herta: unless her personality takes a huge shift between her dolls and herself I refuse to pull for her. She views everyone outside of notable individuals as unimportant and expendable and that's already a real life pet peeve of mine, so I won't bother with someone like that in a game. - Aglaea: don't know enough and there's a lot of speculation about her going into the regular banner to fill the remembrance-slot and I'm not at 300 yet, so limited pulls depend a lot on how exactly Hoyo will handle her introduction (both on the character-side and on the banner mechanics-side). All that said, I'll have my eyes on upcoming reruns hoping for Firefly, maybe Jade (though it would be a bit early for her to be rerun) and maybe a limited sustain if Aventurine doesn't want to show up in the next two weeks.

I think that your theory may actually be correct because her dress just looks like a re-color of Himeko’s dress
doubtful she's entirely separate to himeko.. and nothing even points to it outside of clothing which is fairly standard greek mythology clothing

I know for a fact that I’m going for Sunday because Harmony characters usually introduce a brand new archetype & are generally broken beyond belief. No clue what Fugue does, but if Aglaea introduces a new play style, say Summon focused like Topaz/Numby, I’d rather save my jades for Aglaea than waste them on Fugue. As for Herta…well I’ve already got her 4* version built! 😅

If we look at the Greek theme, her name is probably pronounced as Agla-ya, not Agl-ee-a. Aglaya is a Greek name ἀγλαΐα which means beauty and shine. Although, for some reason, in English we can find a translation of her name as Aglaea (/əˈɡliːə/) or Aglaia (/əˈɡlaɪə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀγλαΐα. So could be both

The name is based on the three Charites of Greek Mythology. Aglaea, Euphrosyne, and Thalia, its a simple A-Gla-Ee-A for pronunciation.

I honestly state that if someone skips 3.0 characters..especially the one who's actually from path of remembrance,then ig players will miss on a lot of value,since its 3.x version and some other characters get outdated a bit too,in my opinion

Ever since I became aware of this character I have been PRAYING that she had a sort of regal look to her, think I can say guaranteed Aglaea is the most regal and prettiest character I have seen in this game

I'm sucker for the Ancient Greek aesthetic in general and I'm far too curious about the Remembrance path to skip her. (I have heard of the leaks about the Remembrance path but I take leaks with a massive grain of salt until things are officially shown off).

I'll be honest I'm very unsure.where I'll be going. Every single one of the upcoming characters is amazing design-wise, but at the same time none of them really stands out for me as a must-pull (yet?). I wonder if finding every option interesting but not actively wanting any of them is a good or a bad thing in a gacha game?!
- Sunday: his persona is underwhelming. I'm not pulling purely on vibes, but they do play a huge role and, well, when you compare him to his sister who is just such a genuinely good, loving and hardworking person he can't help but lose out even though in a vacuum he's obviously not a bad guy though he does seem to value individuality very little.
- Fugue: great design, but who is she? We know literally nothing about her because we only met the fake. Hard to get excited about a character without any knowledge about them. I might throw a few pulls at her if she can debuff for Acheron but won't go out of my way unless 2.7 story gives us a lot (or if her kit works amazingly well in multiple teams).
- Herta: unless her personality takes a huge shift between her dolls and herself I refuse to pull for her. She views everyone outside of notable individuals as unimportant and expendable and that's already a real life pet peeve of mine, so I won't bother with someone like that in a game.
- Aglaea: don't know enough and there's a lot of speculation about her going into the regular banner to fill the remembrance-slot and I'm not at 300 yet, so limited pulls depend a lot on how exactly Hoyo will handle her introduction (both on the character-side and on the banner mechanics-side).
All that said, I'll have my eyes on upcoming reruns hoping for Firefly, maybe Jade (though it would be a bit early for her to be rerun) and maybe a limited sustain if Aventurine doesn't want to show up in the next two weeks.

Yeah I thought I was gonna get Fugue and/or Sunday but Herta and Aglaea are gonna make me skip 2.7 entirely and save for them instead.
