Can confirm: you do want the musaica. I got one last summer as a two leafer and am now up to 11-12. They grow so interestingly - nothing for weeks at a time, and then multiple sprouts in the soil. Rinse and repeat. Global greens are circulating in MIchigan Walmarts. I was excited, but when I saw it in person, I didn’t pick one up. I suspect the right specimen might change my mind. Snow Drift is on my list, too!
I’ve been seeing posts on local plant groups pop up with their great finds in local stores. I’m holding out for the right ones. I’m sure I’ll find them if I can be patient enough.
Like that pothos I have never heard of that one. I acquired the Hoya last fall and it’s growing like mad I bought it from Steves Leaves when they had it in stock I’ve had good luck buying from them on their website.
I haven’t ordered from Steve’s Leaves yet. But I’ve stalked their website a few times. I’m glad the Hoya is a fast grower. Mine all grow well, but that’s because they get the primo south window spot :)
new year new wishlist! that philodendron snowdrift looks stunning and I've always wanted a huge alocasia zebrina as well! fingers crossed you can get your hands on some of these!
I've got the alocasia scalprum and yes, it does have nice sturdy leaves. Got it here (Canada) for $8.00. Color is a black/green - super dark.... a slow grower.. Also, tends to lose a leaf for every new one it puts out. Ugh. I also have a big Calathea musaica I wish I could give you half of.
Thank you for confirming my suspicions on the Scalprum. I haven't seen them around... yet. If the price is reasonable, I'll have to pick one up. Alocasia love me, and I've decided not to question it lol
Dear Sarah, I wish from my heart that all those desires come true! I have only one on the list so far. I am not sure about correct botanical name but it comes mostly from Indonesia as a Rhaphidophora MEGAsperma, and current prices are up to $300.

That snowdrift is something else. I’m also working on getting the right light for my ghost. Great list and happy hunting in 2022.
Best of luck on your Florida ghost. I’ve got a new leaf emerging on my ghost. 🤞Here’s hoping my new placement yields a whiter leaf.
Cool wishlist plants and it's nice to look forward and hunt for them. Enjoy your weekend x
It’s always good to dream 😂🛌💭
Nice list!
Thanks 🌿

Maybe it will be like years past where I make this video and find two immediately 🤣

I had never heard of the megasperma. Had to Google it and holy cow 😱 That’s a good looking plant.
I regret not buying calethea musaica when I saw it. I think it was Costa farms
Hopefully, they stick around for awhile and we’ll both find one soon!
