I have been thinking about lady bugs in the spring for mealies....

      I’m lucky. I don’t get mealies often.

Several years ago, experimented with ladybugs for aphids in my rose garden. Ordered enough ladybugs for area, carefully followed care instructions and released them at dusk. Next day saw a few ladybugs on some of the rose bushes. On the second day, couldn’t see any ladybugs. On the afternoon of the second day, friend who lives two streets away from my home and a couple of closer neighbors, all mentioned that they had found an unusual amount of ladybugs in their in their yards. None of them knew of my experiment but the number of ladybugs in their yards warranted a mention in casual conversation. Ladybugs did not return to my rose garden. Maybe their houses were on fire? Think if your name is Ann you could have better luck.

🤣 guess there was more “food” in Ann’s yard. The ladies were paying you a compliment 😂

Keep us posted on how they work. I tried the other ones (Grub Grenade) and they seemed to work after a while. I didn’t see any more spider mites on my Alocasia Zebrina about a few weeks after I applied them and even now no spider mites on them. A big mystery though as I don’t see them. I did see a few moving in bag but not on soil. Not sure if spider mites are fewer during winter.

I do see them. Very little almost white bugs. They look like dust almost. I hope they work.
