No countries in the world is as jealous than paxtan.
There is golden rule to overcome jealousy is to work hard and become better than your competitors rather than poking again n again and making yourself embarassed.
If PSL happens to host between the IPL window than it is gonna be make it or break it season because IPL is gonna be going for a big Mega Auctions next season 2025 and it's gonna be do Or die for PSL season. I would suggest for PCBs to coordinate with BCCI and make plans accordingly.

Saweraji are you kidding, foreign players prefer ipl due to money and not for gametime...a season of being on bench of ipl team would be much preferred than playing for a decade in psl. You are missing the most important impact for psl which is not quality foreign players(which was never there in comparison to ipl) but pakistani "eyeballs". Majority of pakistani viewership would be divided between ipl and psl and whatever be that ratio psl would end up being on the losing side. Last but not the least, its a childs guess on what international audience would be viewing in case of ipl vs psl

I think pcb and all the franchises should go ahead with the idea of havig Psl viz a viz with the Ipl for that Pcb have to conduct the drafting for Psl 10 only after the mega auction for IPl is over as unsold players in Ipl auction can be picked in the Psl draft.

Only one problem i see in this idea is how you gonna increase viewership.
Shekhchilli wali batein awwal to IPL ke players contracted hote hain kisi aur league me khel nahi sakte...baki IPL ke time pe psl ki viewership will go down like anything. Apni bhad pitwani hai to zaroor karwalo itna bada loss hoga ki public galiyaan degi.
Ali bhai u will have many issues if psl happens in ipl window : broadcasting team, broadcasters, commentators, media rights, sponsorship

Hosting PSL during IPL window would be the worst decision and final nail in coffin for PSL.
Pollard left PSL24 (represented as player in playing 11) in between to attend Anant Ambanis pre-wedding event, imagine how can he leave his services for MI as a coach for the entire season to play only for PSL25?
Also switching leagues in between during an ongoing event is next to impossible as these are professional cricketers and no franchise would want their players to miss a single day of their services especially when they are already running on tight schedule of flying among different states of India.
Finally whatever few big names that come to Pakistan and are part of PSL would not even come if it’s hosted along with IPL, as they would definitely liked to be associated with IPL.

If psl tries to operate in ipl window they have to be very smart about their approach and not antagonise Bcci......
Or else one scenario could be that Bcci force larger cricket boards to pass a rule , that their players can only play 2 leagues which some boards are already planning....(if psl fees will be low . It will be doomed)
Yes psl can perform well and get a lots of 2nd choice overseas players than previous editions but it will be harder to GROW in future.

Why does Pak suffer from denial of reality ..n is hell bent on harakiri. It's ego will ruin it ..the consequences of PSL during IPL window will be it's death knell ..such moves will further make BCCI take a harder stand against PCB n it's interest ...foreign players participating in PSL may be put on ban list for future IPL selection ...only retired and spent out players who are never going to make it for IPL may be the only ones who would be interested . What Savera is suggesting of bench strength of IPL being available for playing PSL but that will only be possible if relations between Pak n India improves and for that Pak needs to work on curbing the export of terrorism into India.
