Mind you.. IPL franchises owners are requesting BCCI to increase their purse to ₹110-130Cr from ₹100Cr so they are gonna go big in the mega auction. IPL is gonna do something big and different coming season. They might even bring 1 new franchise..
Agreed. Even with the increase this doesn’t make any sense why IPL needs to be concerned if PSL is ready to be the league which is ready to focus on the IPL unsolds and with all the money IPL will need 80 overseas players even with 11th team make it 88. Still PSL can manage getting decent 36 players for their window.
I don’t see any objection in this. PSL will have its fair share of challenges with this step. If they can’t produce quality they will fall on its face.

This basically means that Pakistan has surrendered in front of IPL and accepted that PSL will always remain a mediocre league as they don’t focus on attracting top players as they will all play IPL. Secondly its an injustice to Pakistani people as they will not be able to witness the playoffs.
