This guy speaks in such a way that may adhd does not interfere with my ability to hear him. He has such a specific gift. I think he should pursue a path congruent with communicating to folks that struggle to focus. Maybe im just crazy, but I needed to express this. Thank you 🙂

When using any psychedelics it's important to be in a good head space prior and during if you get in a bad one during it's helpful to have others around you to help shift your thoughts. I took them as a kid to expand my mind. I write love art etc Pisces lol so it makes sense I never tried that. I have had bad experiences so I am good at helping people with that.
I, too, live in Bend (and go to Tokyo Starfish) and am about to go on an ayahuasca retreat in Peru as well. Would be awesome to connect with this guy once I'm back and discuss our experiences and re-integration.
@@victorarregnelle8976 holy shit sounds aweful, maybe its just that these rituals arent actually good settings after all? i think psychedelics makes you very suggestible and maybe in these rituals there isnt some ultimate truth and its just indigenous beliefs being forced on you. also what you mesn by purging like vomiting, pissing and shitting yourself? shouldnt that stop after some time i mean she cant do that forever

"love is the answer" funny cuz a day after the ceremony while sitting at the park I became enlighten, or so I thought and felt at the moment. I was convinced that to be enlighten is to be in love. It's temporary, yes. It's not knowledge. At least not in this level of human existence. It might differ at higher levels, but I do not need to know that.ignorance is bliss.
I'm very interested in one of these healing retreats. However, does anyone know if these places have a safety protocol in case of an emergency. For instance, if someone got very sick and needed medical attention. What happens? I'm mean your in the Amazon very far from hospitals and medical attention. That's really the only thing that concerns me.
So for a start, actual biological problems are nearly impossible. The DMT in the ayahuasca is not toxic to the body whatsoever, its endogenous and thus our body is familiar with it, our system actually metabolises it at an unbelievable speed! Like it is very hungry for it. When I smoked DMT I was driving home half an hour later, sober as a judge, obviously taking it through the stomach would make the experience last much longer. Secondly, they have medical doctors on site as well as the shaman. So all in all its like terrence mckenna says: the biggest danger here is death by astonishment
It is not detectable or tested by conventional 12-panel drug tests. In fact, all psychedelics require a special test, and they are not given by employers. Hope this helps!
