    It was great to see your review. I just bought one from Amazon that comes with a .35 and .5 tip expecting soon. Thanks for the great videos.

      Thank you for watching, I hope you get on well with the one you’ve purchased from Amazon.

    Looks like a nice piece of kit, be interesting to see how you progress with it. I have always had a problem with spraying white, so I will be having a look at what you used, surprised how high a pressure you use.

      Yeah I find for problematic colours like white, and while I’m only underpainting as well, knocking the PSI up to 30 can help. For regular painting my default to start is usually 20, and I adjust from there.

    It certainly looks stylish, having a removable paint pot is always good, and falling into that prize zone between the myriad of cheap brushes and the low end branded models is a big attraction.
    If the 2mm and 3mm versions have different adjustment options, does that mean that the needles aren't interchangeable?

      I’m not sure if I’m honest, my guess is that as they’re labelled as 0.2 and 0.3 then they can only fit one those needles. I’m not sure if a change in nozzle would change that though.

    Nice review. I’m starting to think that an airbrush would be a good idea as it might save some time especially spraying white over black before using contrast paints (or similar) since I imagine that will be a lot quicker than having to dry brush the white on.
    I’ve never used an airbrush before, is the maintenance on them pretty straightforward (likely would depend on the brand/model)?

      They’re definitely brilliant for priming and underpainting, and once you’ve got the hang of them you can do so much more.
      You do need a lot of equipment to start off, but once you’re up and running then you’re away. Just like anything they can be frustrating at times, it takes a while to get used to how to thin paint correctly, deal with minor issues etc, but you get there soon enough (I found the 3d printing learning curve way worse).
      You do have to look after them, cleaning them well is a big part of that, but it’s not so much work that it might out someone off I don’t think.

    Thanks. Really like that you included the shots at the end with all the marketing deets. How does the trigger fit into the body? It looks like a rounded end rather than a pin for insertion or the two side pin depression style

    • @MiniatureRealms
      @MiniatureRealms  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It has a tapered end with a depression that fits over the air release part, without the needle in it falls out pretty easily.

      @@MiniatureRealms Sure. The needle will hold it in place. I ask cos on an Iwata I have to fiddle around to get the pin in place.
      Thanks again. I check your content all the time mate :)

      @MiniatureRealms  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @mattcooper1664 Yep it’s not fiddly at all, but it’s definitely more loose than on my Infinity. With my Infinity if I remove my needle I still have to pull it out, with this one it just falls out.

    I bought a Mobius 0.2. Upon opening and inspecting it, I found the needle was bent. It was shipped directly from Gaahleri. I did not expect their top tiered brushes to have such poor quality control. I contacted them and they sent e a new needle which was fine. I will not be doing fine realistic paintings so we shall see. These are are in China which is notorious for cutting corners and just do not care for quality. I would have them built elsewhere as they have a good design.

    • @MiniatureRealms
      @MiniatureRealms  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh that’s a shame it came like that, definitely sounds like quality control. I’d like to think that’s not common, as all companies will have an issue with quality at one point or another, and it’s very clear they’re trying to produce higher quality airbrushes and lower prices.
      Funnily enough I was in conversation with them today, and they’re also sending me a 0.2 to review as well. They have also road they’ve just opened UK and EU warehouses, that will also stock spare parts, so that bodes will for shipping times and costs (and being able to speedily fix issues if they occur).

      @@MiniatureRealms I blame Chinese cutting corners and not Gaahleri but they are using chinese labor... I did check my GHAD-39 and the needle was also bent but not as bad. I corrected it easy. There have been quality issues with others reviews but they have been prompt to correct. Other than that I like their designs but an Iwata or H&S they are not.

      @WhiteDragon689 That’s fair enough, especially if you’ve had more than one bad experience.
