Thank you for the good video on Elitewheels SLT rim brake wheelset. In March 2023 I received the same Elitewheels SLT 50 mm wheelset with ceramic bearing and a Shimano freehub body and the total weight is 1486 grams. The front wheel is 659 grams and the rear wheel weighs 827 grams. This year a non-drive side Pillar Wing 20 spoke of the rear wheel snapped while I was riding my bike. I am disappointed by the rear wheel because it goes out of true pretty often - in 150-200 kilometers after it has been trued.
Thanks for the details ! Im considering buying a pair of these but I’m still hesitating between the ceramic hub and the normal one. Is the ceramic hub really a good upgrade ?
Congratulations on the content of this video because it is very enlightening. Rich information. What configuration do these wheels have and support what size tires?
Not sure if I'm too late but: ENT - Entry level carbon wheels SLT - A tier above ENT with ceramic bearings PRO - Similar to ENT but uses slightly better hub (6 pawls hub instead of 4) EDGE - (not factoring DRIVE) another one that we recently purchased. one of the highest tier in the Elite Wheels family. Ratchet hub, super light with ceramic bearing.
@@WiserBikerCan you please tell me the distinctive features of the SLT and Ultralight models? They are all in the same price category, so wouldn’t it be wiser to take the lightest ultralight?
Yes it is possible, but you need to use 1 or 2 cassette spacers on the free hub body before putting on your cassette. And remember to adjust your rear derailleur limits accordingly. Cheers!
I have the exact pair.... The best investment so far... Light n fast... Those on alloy n shallow wheels will significantly feel the positive differences

I m using those wheels since 20000km and they still true and confy. 👌
Wow that's a lot mileage on the wheels. Glad it's still holding up well for you! Truly a blessing for us :D
great result, how does the brake track look now? after several rides in wet weather, it has noticeably worn off
@@Shmendruk I use them regularly on wet condition and the brake tracks still in good conditions.
I'm vey happy for the option of 15,6mm inner rim, I love to use the old fashioned 23mm clincher, ad in this case i can use them with no problems.
Great to know! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼

No for elite marvel, I own one and Its very worst, go for lun hyper or fulcrums wheels in mid end carbon wheels
Congratulations on the content of this video because it is very enlightening. Rich information. What configuration do these wheels have and support what size tires?
Do you know if they'll work with a Pinarello F5. Those fulcrum wheels weigh a ton
Can you use an 8 speed cassette on them?
How do I grease the front wheel bearing?
What's the difference between SLT, ENT and PRO model? Couse elitewheels have all 3 on sale and i'm confused

@@WiserBiker can you confirm if ENT, SLT and PRO use the same rim (and only the hub changes between models)?

Is this 12speed ready?
What do you recommend elite wheels rimbreak aside drive???
EXAR, ICAN or Hyper wheels
Do you know if these elite wheels from ali express are the same as the wheels from the elite wheels website? The price and names are diffeferent.
I do believe so, but not really sure why they offer wheels with other names and greater prices on the website
Ent 395€ or Slt 445€
What to buy???
SLT for us 🤟🏻
I am using alloy rim brake wheel set.
How to dismNtle front wheel bearing
Yes please! I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the end caps just my front wheel.
Is it possible to fit a 8-speed shimano cassette on the hubs?

Where l can buy in singapore

slightly incorrect.
I use 21mm inner width rims and 28mm tires which measures 30.5mm wide. They fit perfectly into my rim brakes with 5mm of gap.
Thanks for the info 👍🏼 perhaps we have different rim brake calipers.
