- What curly hair styling technique will give us the BEST curl definition for frizz-free curls and give us more longevity out of our styles? Finger coiling or using the Denman brush? The denim brush somehow separated my hair more than usual, and STRETCHED out my hair. Not my personal preference. Maybe you can do a "denman brush do's and don'ts " like you did with diffusing? And if you did and my notifications did not tell me I'm gonna be so mad at TH-cam.

Thank you, SO MUCH, for explaining the Denman Brush! I know it has been around for a long time. I remember it when I was a kid, and I was born in the 60s. I have 3 different kinds of hair, very slightly wavy, very wavy, and ringlet curls, so it's really hard to get perfect definition. I lost a bunch of hair (over 3/4 - thank goodness I had really thick hair) due to illness, and all the new hair grew back very thick, wavy, and very curly. What's left of the old hair is thin and still on the straighter side, so it's a challenge to style it, especially the curly hair, and especially since I'm so new at dealing with these different textures. I really enjoy your tutorials and your wackiness! It's so refreshing! THANKS! 😁
I’m currently transitioning my hair back to its curls and tried finger coiling last night and it made the biggest difference! Took me an hour to do all my hair but was 100% worth the effort as I got beautifully defined curls

Your videos are so informative. I love the step by step instruction/explanation. I’m 43, and it’s only in the last few years I’ve started to learn how to style my curls. Straight hair was “in” when I was a teenager in the mid/late 90s and I wasted so many years hating my hair.
My hair has drastically changed as the grey hair has been growing in.
I loved both sides. For me, my patience is only for the Denman brush. I can't seem to handle finger coiling. Unless Mel could come over every wash day and do it for me! 🤣
