Hi Richard, another wonderful video with some outstanding images. Your videos, along with Espens and Mortons are what have inspired me to take up wildlife photography (previously just landscapes) and since doing so I have had some truly magical experiences. Two weeks ago I visited RSPB Hamwall and spent the whole day watching a breeding pair of Marsh Harriers.... even managed to get a cracking shot of a mid air food pass between the male and female. I cant even begin to tell you how exciting a day that was. Many Many thanks for being such an inspiration, my enjoyment of photography has reached an entirely new level.
Hi Steve, one of the best comments I’ve received, it’s an absolute pleasure to have you follow me on my channel, those chaps are such a great watch and really nice blokes as well. Welcome to another side of photography that will only get more addictive for sure, lol 👍. Wow, what a great thing to witness, Harriers are so awesome to watch and the food pass and mating display are amazing, a memory not to forget for sure. Keep In touch and best of luck with your wildlife photography 🙏👍. All the best Rich.
Finally sat down to watch your post !!! What a mind blowing location!!!! Just incredible!!!! Just so glad you can share your journey with us on TH-cam! Can’t wait for next Saturday post on the male marsh harrier !!!!! You take care my TH-cam friend!!🎥👍
Thanks very much, it was stunning just to be there let alone seeing & photographing some of the commoner species of birds, so relaxing just to be there. Amazing how nature makes you feel when you’re out in it! A longer one next week of around 21 mins for the Hen Harrier, think it deserves more time, lol... until then my friend, as always thanks 🙏👍R
Hi Richard wow fantastic place to go, so many Oystercatchers and footage of the the Lapwing just brilliant, i yet to get a Dipper fabulous footage and photo, quite a change from being up in the mountains, you’re very lucky with the weather when we went spent more time trying to keep dry 😂 yet again Richard fantastic vlog thank you for taking the time and sharing it with us. Martyn
Martyn thanks again for the support and kind words🙏👍. They might be common but such characters and the colours were beautiful! Even the Common Gulls were nice to see, not any down my way! Nice to vary the terrain a bit and it’s all so beautiful! You’ll get the Dipper I’m sure, fingers crossed you do. Thanks again R 👍
Thanks Espen, it’s amazing you can walk by and see a bit but stay and wait and watch and it’s amazing how much more you can see and what turns up! Nice just chilling along the river. Cheers M👍

Great inspiration as usual...Fortunately we are planning an "open ended" holiday in Scotland next year... this looks a great place to head for, however not being a rich wildlife photographer we shall be roughing it in our teardrop caravan...lol
Thanks very much Malcolm, it really is an awesome place to be, nothing wrong with a caravan, see stacks more in one of those than B&B and SC accommodation… I’m not sure I’m the richest of wildlife photographers, lol… but with the family with me it’s the best option, on my own I’d happily rough it. Thanks for watching 👍
It really was Keith, just chilling by the river with a few birds the sound of the water and Eagles overhead! Awesome way to spend your time. Thanks R 👍
Thanks very much for watching, still have my Manfrotto but liking the Gitzo for the lighter weight option👍, need to update my equipment on the video, lol.. thanks again. R 👍
