I mean... seriously. They said you should pass on a date who suggests fondue. That is the FIRST place you should suggest. A pot of cheese?! Yes, please.
I moved from Fairfax, Virginia a few years ago. I so much miss Bonefish. I used to order appetizers for my meal and always enjoyed a nice bottle of wine.
We now have a Ruth’s Chris, but I refuse to add a $20 baked potato to a tiny $75 fillet mignon. And then consider a $20 side salad. So we’re talking $115, without a beverage!!! Crazy !!!! Go to Texas Roadhouse, or cook a steak on your charcoal grill at home!!!
What do you have against fondue?? It's amazing! I figured you would have critiqued the melting pot for being soo expensive, not for simply serving fondue.
There are none of these around here and that's fine with me. I prefer local restaurants over national chains and our locals are awesome. Chain restaurants come in, can't compete with the locals, they shut their doors and slink away or if they stay they just barely keep their heads above water
Restaurant have there way of showing you there best plates of food by style ingredients flavor color and what brings them back tastes, and word of mouth…….that’s what makes a great restaurant.
None of these restaurants are near me except The Melting Pot and I love cheese fondue. It is nice to know that I have better uses for my money than the people who frequent these overpriced eateries.
I'd like to know what you think of the canadian chain "The Keg". How might it compare to these places? It's my favorite and if you ranked it poorly I want to see what you ranked better!
You can’t expect much from this channel I know but c’mon. They start the video without saying one bad thing about the melting pot. Basically just “who likes cheese?!”… idk about you but I know people with lactose intolerance who risk it for the stuff
The price for cooking your own food at the melting pot (although tasty) is ridiculous. In my opinion for the price there are better places to eat where you don’t cook your food.
A few years ago the local paper did a poll on foods and KFC got voted last place for fried chicken. A local grocery store got #1 and I agree. They use their own recipe and it blows KFC away
@@jason666king our local KFC is a crap shack, the chicken is lousy and greasy. There has been more than a few cases of food poisoning linked to there over the years. If sanders was alive he would take the keys from the owner and shut it down
I love how she's describing dipping food into melty cheese like it's a bad thing.
Someone must be paying Buzzfeed to slam Melting Pot

Oh yes, Salt Lake City still has The Melting Pot. Ever since I was a kid, now 44. I am surprised it’s still open especially with Covid around.

This👍
How did you miss Flemings, Ruth's Chris and Mortons, but included Cap Grille and Nobu?
Who would be stupid enough to eat at Fleming's or Morton's? Ruth's Chris is another matter...
@@michaellusk2856 What? Fleming's steaks are far Superior to Ruth Chris. You must have COVID.
HAPPY MEMORIES OF MORTONS!!!!! Just loved 😍
Feels weird to hear someone hate on melted cheese so hard lol

What about Bar and Grills ranked worst to best?
I want to see how you rank Applebee's and Chill's.
Thank you, very helpful !
Love the Melting Pot!
Me too I'm so angry its so low
Same!! I love that place
Yeah, I was sitting here thinking, "What's wrong with cheese fondue?"
I've been there once years ago and it was good.
They didn't even give good reasons to have it low.
I cooked in a restaurant a few times.. Mako shark full of it's cancer is substituted for pricey cuts of all fish...
I would love to see you guys do a video about Mongolian BBQ
Why so rough on the Melting Pot? It’s not that bad of a place for a once in a while experience. Also cheese on everything is not a bad thing
Melting Pot is my jam. Mmmm. Cheese!
Bonefish grill slaw is my favorite.
Hm, nice gruyeres, comte, beaufort cheeses, savoy wine, baguette ... little else needed for a great fondue. Can't resist
Biaggi's Ristorante is a Great one, based in Bloomington, Illinois
I'd like to know what you think of the canadian chain "The Keg". How might it compare to these places? It's my favorite and if you ranked it poorly I want to see what you ranked better!
10 of them I never even heard of before

They need to check out Devon Seafood Grill.
Disagree on Chart House. The Annapolis location is our Thanksgiving tradition if we’re home for the holiday.
A 6 pound lobster sounds old and chewy to me. Young is always better.

PF Chang's is about as upscale as the Cheesecake Factory.
Everything in life is relative…
What's wrong with fondue? Y'all a bunch of haters.
bro what's wrong with fondue? If the quality of it is bad, just tell us that, because there's nothing wrong with fondue as a concept.
What! I love the melting pot ...its really great ;w;
Wife and I choose Chama gaucha over fogo de chao if u want brazilian steakhouse
The melting pot is overpriced but AMAZING.
Do Papas and Beer!
WHAT🤯NO APPLE BEES🤣
Or Olvie Garden.
I think I would rather just bring papa Murphy’s home
None of them near me!
What's wrong with fondue?!? Nothing!
Upscale Chain Restaurants....LOL
In europe we dint do chain restaurants,or ikea must count
I guess she's a cheese fondon't. 🧀
P.F. Changs doesn't belong on this list.
Who doesn't like melted cheese?
KFC got robbed!
A few years ago the local paper did a poll on foods and KFC got voted last place for fried chicken. A local grocery store got #1 and I agree. They use their own recipe and it blows KFC away
Plus KFC is not upscale restaurant
@@hellhound1389 Blasphemy!

All chains suck
Applebee's is gross
I dined at a Trulucks a few years ago. It was an amazing experience.
This person obviously has never been to The Melting Pot. My son had his wedding reception as Maggiano's. Heavy food, as I recall.
