Rear Occupant Alert: Changing The Settings

Here are the settings for a vehicle equipped with the ACTIVE Rear Occupant Alert. Our Sorento, Carnival, and Tellurides are equipped with the ACTIVE system.

The new Sorento’s are beautiful I purchased a Sapphire blue 2023 Sorento SX Prestige 2 months ago coming out of a 2017 Toyota Highlander I looked at 2022 Highlander and it felt dated and tech and wasn’t as comfortable looked at a Sorento sat in one and instantly knew it was the vehicle for me my 2 daughters love the panoramic sunroof in it

I have a 2024 Kia ​​Carnival in which I installed an ESPAR B4 gasoline auxiliary heating system which makes a small vibration when it operates. The system is powered by auxiliary batteries, in no way connected to the vehicle's original electrical power system. When the vehicle is locked and the heating system is in operation, an alarm (horn) sounds. I just deactivated the rear Ultrasonic Sensor. My question, is there any other vibration system or other that can activate the horn

My 2021 telluride does not have a Convenience option. Do you know where else that setting could be listed? My alarm keeps going off because of my dog.

I would never turn off a critical safety feature meant to save lives from heat stroke! I would have to adapt to it when I either buy or lease the vehicle even if it is pestiferous!
