I’ve seen other UTube videos that people use a hose thing or air or something? I did not see u guys use one so guessing I don’t have to have it? Also do I need something under the laser so it doesn’t burn the table? I don’t think I have the aluminum plate in my box
The hose is for an air assist, when we did the unboxing we didn't utilize it. The air assist isn't required, however, it is very beneficial to keep the laser lens clean and helps with cleaner engravings. We'd suggest one, as we do utilize it on most projects. You will need something to protect your workspace, as it isn't included with the product, a sheet of aluminum, steel and/or a honeycomb bed.
I spent the last 2 weeks using one of these. I love that I can engrave much larger pieces than I can with my CO2 laser.
Us too, it is certainly nice to have that flexibility. Thanks for watching!
Great info, ty so much!
