    Radiological Control Technician Apprentices use radiation detection equipment to take measurements of radiation and radioactivity. They provide control point watch support while working on nuclear powered vessels. You will start with paid deck plate hands-on experience under the oversite of Radiological Control Technicians until you will be sent to a paid 12-week course in Norfolk, VA where you will be trained for your duties and qualification board.
    After successful completion of school and boards you will become a fully qualified radiological control technician.
