I thought this real
@@SPYARMYFFFF bro same
how do you think this is real you can tell this is a game even a blind person can tell that this is a game
@@CG_Media95bro they obviously knew it was game they’re just overreacting, no need to get mad over it lil bro
@@CG_Media95How a blind can see at first place
I can't believe it took me this long to realize defend middle. It's always inside or outside for me...wtf lol. Thanks for the info lol
For me it always depends on how close the car behind is and what type of turn it is. For example i would always take the inside when defending at turn 4 in Austria. Taking the middle is letting the other guy decide which way to go. If you pick a side you're forcing the driver to take the other line
Get good at it because some tracks and car combination makes it basically impossible to overtake if you hold the middle well
especially if the driver behind u is stubborn that he wants to have one side, just leave enough room where the car looks like it fits but doesnt. and watch them hit the grass and get slowed
A common mistake I used to make was taking a defensive line when the car behind was too far back to realistically go for the overtake. It's another really common error that a surprisingly large amount of people make.
Would you consider yourself smart?
man, honestly, was I was watching, I thought "well, if you move to the inside, he could just take the normal line, and switchback as you go wide", you surprised me with one of the best dive bombs I've ever seen! 🔥
Honestly I never expected to pull it off, there was nothing but hope behind the wheel
Right, was a good 1 👍
Divebomb being the key word
“The limit is the thin line when you’re half in control and half on a wing and prayers”-
El maestro, juan manuel fangio.
Is not that deep bro.
These battles are the only reason sim racing keeps me glued behind the wheel
Then you didn't use enough gorilla glue if that's the only reason
Ayrton Senna would be proud of you
“You should know that by being a racing driver you are under risks all the time. Being a racing driver means you are racing with other people and if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver - because we are competing, we are competing to win, and the main motivation to all of us is to compete for the victory.”
Keep these coming man they're great. I wish real motorsport broadcasts had more stuff like this!
Road Atlanta, what a track
First thing I did in iRacing was take my time and try to get up to next class of racing. But I learned nothing sitting in the rear and quickly went back down in rating.
Next, I raced hard but fair, took about 3-4momths (instead of 3wks) learning tracks, getting brake zones down, and the feel for MX-5. B
ut now I'm competitive in my bracket and can get my elbows out when appropriate. My only beef is that it took me till my 40s to discover my love for racecraft.
"I coulda' been a contender"
This makes me proud to hear! God speed brother! Welcome to the community, if you haven’t already been welcomed!
i just went on a training arc and played with ai for about 4 months, i got quite good but nothing to fancy
It’s amazing if you take that next level and just dive in and accept that you’ll make mistakes. You have to make those mistakes to learn and you have these lightbulb moments where you figure out tuning adjustments, racing strategy, track lines, etc. it’s unbelievably rewarding. Never too late to be passionate brother, Godspeed 🤘
those graphics are amazing
"I could have been almost anything"
thought i was watching real life footage for a sec
That dive bomb was so clean and smooth!
I didn’t read the tags first so I was very surprised at the quality of the video
Nice overtake
Nice move
Your videos help me understand and realize concepts i never knew existed!!!!!!!!!
This is why I love the Atlanta circuit the downhill overtakes are so fun
You took the inside riskier line, but once you were committed to the inside line, he moved over to the proper racing line which made it easier for you to execute proper braking. Had he remained in the middle of the track once you committed to the inside line, he would have forced you into a more difficult entry into the corner, perhaps lending to a bit of lockup.
the meaning of "in doubt, flat out"
Tbf the yellow Porsche could push you right on the edge of the track as you pulled out of the slipstream to make it more difficult for you to pass. Stellar overtake nonetheless
Always go for the inside. They eventually get back on the racing line, nobody takes the corner from the middle of the track, i’ve learned.
You really do an excellent job explaining the racing line and racing in general
Amazing overtake
The last lap, he should definitely be defending that inside line like his depended on it, but he wasn’t committed to keeping that place at all. At least you had the balls to make the move! 👌🏼🔥
this set of corners can be real tricky to be on the full inside line like danny went. most of the time youll end up with a horrid run out of the last 2 corners (the ones directly proceeding this one) and potentially loose the place. its not always worth it esspecially if its last lap in a championship. better to loose one place from a hell of a dive than try to fend off something that might not be done and risk loosing more places if you mess up and lock up or brake too late/lightly i would if iwas the defending driver done the same stayed on the middle line then when danny dove instantly moved wide and try to take a cut back on him.
I enjoy Laguna Seca turn 2. You play mid they jump inside. They'll overshoot and you cross to inside to take the position back. They usually lose a bunch of momentum and you get a nice gap by t3.
But by taking the corner at a slower pace you then control the line you take & force him to slow down too! Meaning advantage you
I mean if you would stay outside the next 2 turn is right meaning if you stay next to him have a good chance off overtaking as well due to the slower line in the left turn off the chicane
Having raced at RA in a real car, I can say this move was in fact, the right choice. Well done.
One of my proudest overtakes in sin racing was getting the switchback on that corner and outrunning them on the exit over the hill, only issue is that someone needs to back out coming into the final turn, so your choice was much more sensible
I thought this was real life for a second!
There are so many people that need to understand this concept.. on both offense and defense.. instead they just run into the back of you
That wasn't risk, that was execution my friend, well done!
I feel Dots and Choclate Covered Pretzels are severely underrated for andy
It's such a goofy little track, but I really love it.
I think the outside line would work, you would take the inside away from him on the next corner but I don't think the corner is long enough to make that big of a difference
I passed a car just like that the other day, I had to pick the inside or out and picked the inside as I was running out of time before the turn. I took the tighter inside line and passed him 💪🏽
Good overtake
That is favourite marc marquez overtake.
Bonnet cam looked like real footage 🔥
Tbh, there's never been a time where the divebomb hasn't worked for me
Excellent video
Fantastic maneuver! I'd usually counter by going for the outside, turn late and hard to hit a late apex, straighten out sooner and (hopefully) have more power down sooner than the rival. However given this dog leg chicane it wouldn't have worked here.
There is nothing better than taking an inside line and braking later than your opponent. It’s like a drag race mixed with a game of chicken and watching the fade away from your window is just 🤌
When I actually raced here in 2011, I used the same defensive line and pushed all the way in. My opponent decided to hit me off the track instead.
Natural reaction to defend middle cool take
Road Atlanta... love it.
you can just do what lance stroll does and drive into their car
Good overtake, opponent respected it as well!
Type of move that occurs when you finally turn on the music.
10A/B such a wonderful spot for a overtake.
With that slower, longer chicane, this makes the lead car really think since there is an immediate right hander after turning left. Honestly, I wouldve held more inside with a chance to switchback the tailing car if he decided to overtake me at the left hander, or at least have a run coming out of the right hander
He probably never heard of the ol' switcheroo
I love how you love superwog as well
committing is the key. Even on the outside its possible, but more risky. Great move
The graphics are hyper real. WOW.
to be onest i thought it was real life
Me too lol
that corner givea extreme advantage to the inside
If you can hold it around the outside of the first left then you have the inside for the next right and can usually hold position.
It just depends on how confident you are the other guy isn't going to crash in to you, and how good their connection is.
I've applied it many many times in real racing
First clips made me think it was real footage lol
Road ATL, in real m
life that place is amazing.
if you had a longer straight would you have been able to go inside then squeeze him to normal line and you get the middle and outside for a faster turn?
oh hey i see my usual campin spot over there!
me evertime somebody is slow infront of me
I need those graphic settings, looks so good compared to mine
great video as always BUT how the ell do you make it look so dam easy, you make it look like a walk in the park 👍👍👍
bro did the Verstappen move
I love road Atlanta ❤❤
I can’t get iracing to look this good
didn't even need the fakeout sweep
He's threatening you wit death so you get nervous around the apex pray debter
In my lobbies that dive bomb would take both of us out
"I have the highground"
you were VERY lucky that guy was a clean racer 😉
There's never a time where defending the inside wasn't best here because it's into a chicane, good overtake but crazy to me that he didn't defend the inside
Amazing how many people don’t know that defending the middle is a thing
Too many people go for this and end up cutting off or hiting the other driver who already has the optimal line. Not saying it doesn’t work but I believe it works best when you don’t have to almost run the driver off the road to pull of a successful takeover
not saying that’s what happened I’m just saying I seen it happen much too often
Makes a movie about a normal overtake
Great video. All around. Good move as well.
Road Atlanta is an awsome track!
Ngl i didnt know this was a game till the end lol
good sport about it,, i would've been worried about a switchback right after into that right hand corner, but i guess if you're fighting that hard, the door's closed
Honestly knowing the track. Outside then inside to the next corner easy win
Brilliant move
great battling!
Nice!
How do you get such visual quality out of tracing ? My version look like shit and I have a 4090 coupled with a 7950x3d :)
I thought this was real for a minute wow
You’ve gotten quite good Danny
Усложнил. Если ты ехал быстрее - взял бы просто шире (он не смог бы взять право тогда) и твой угол был бы выгоднее. Просто по поребрику во внутренней части апекса
Anyone else thought it was real life for a bit
Lewis against Max last weekend
Just that Max locked up
ALSO, KNOW YOUR CORNERS(HOW WIDE OR TIGHT) SO YOU CAN PREDICT TO SAVE A PLACE OR MAKE A PASS
Good job dude
Clean asf
You didn't moved to the right when you braked. That way you increasing your chances to not overshot the corner and have better exit speed.
I love this
I would have set it up for the right after the brake zone or even the downhill to the line.
I love that turn what a great move
It's one of the best corner pairs ever
Classic move on that corner I fake the move a few times then boom 💥 I'm there
Nice
