Merry Christmas Donna Rae, You always bring warmth to my day. I am wrapping Christmas presents today and I am catching up on Flossmas videos. Your P.O. story with the lady in line with the big box reminded me of my job: I work in a music store that rents music and orchestral instruments to school kids. Some people call the store to pay their monthly rent over the phone, and quite often the scenario is "I'd like to make a rental payment". I then get into their account and ask for the payment card #. Then they say "Oh, I don't have my card ready. Can you hold for a few moments while I go find it?" People can be so humorous. I don't get upset, I just laugh. It's the quirkiness of life that can get us through the tough days. I also use cloth napkins. People criticize me, but it's my little thing to help the environment. Plus, they are just so pretty and festive!
You are so up lifting I really love the time spent with you. I tried my first piece of linen and I love it. Not sure why I have been so afraid of it till now. Live and learn right! Merry merry happy happy

I roll my excess fabric toward the hoop and I find that this way helps keep my hands on the back of my fabric. It also makes it much easier to weave my thread tails under the last few stitches without having to dip my needle into “the ditch”.

I am intrigued with your 12 days of Christmas and how you have your hoop. Am I stitching from the wrong side of the hoop? Please enlighten me. Note-I usually stitch in hand but sometimes I hoop or q-snap. HELP!!!
Linda Hoke ... you are not using your hoop wrong. 😊 I use a hoop exactly the opposite way of most everyone else. Flannel Jammies Farm I appreciate you sharing your technique. Always willing to try something else. It may work Better for me as I have a slightly handicapped hand from a leash injury and 2 surgeries. My grip is not so great so this may help me a lot. Really enjoying your flossmas! I printed 12 days f Christmas and plan to stitch it next Christmas. How do you think stitching on silver, which is really a med gray? Using dmc red,green, back, and gold floss.
Donna Rae we will excuse you for not moving along faster on that 12 days of Christmas because of all your GALLIVANTING around (but you are taking us with you so that’s okay)!!! You know I’m just kidding, I hope you and your husband are enjoying yourselves! Take the time now because someday it won’t be possible, my husband too many times said “someday” we’ll go here or there, the “somedays” are gone now. ❤️
