      in England and generally Europe furthermore, it was not a matter of question for a woman to go out without a hat before the IIWW. After the IIWW hats were a luxury accessory and the majority of women had to go in heavy industry to work so out of practicality they stopped wearing hats.The Queen and the other noble ladies are still wearing hats when on the public.Head covering and veils were in European culture for centuries from the medieval era to renaissance as a symbol of purity, power, social class, spirituality etc

    ok.this is a free country anyone can choose what to wear. But what if most women decide that they dont want to wear anything at all? Is that taking their rights to choose to go naked as well? When and where does it all stop? When i came to this country it was Canada now iam confused. Who is in charge of Canada? Seems to me that every outsider wants to transform this country into their own country. Canada is slowly dying. Yes i agree with diversity and freedom but there should be a limit. If we go to certain countrys we have to obey their laws. But do the outsiders want to obey ours? No. I dont even know why we have or make laws. Let everyone else bring their own laws from their countrys and tell Canada how it should be .Common canadians open your eyes awhile you can. THIS Canada, not Portugal, not Siria, not Greece, not any other country, if you come to this country obey its own laws and dont try to change it to the laws of where you are from. If the laws in other countrys were so great you wouldn't be here to start with and neither would I. So lets all respect canadian laws for they are a lot better than back where we are from. Thanks for reading this and hopefully understand my point. SAFETY FIRST FOR EVERYONE.

    If there is such a discourse about the type of clothes Muslim women must wear, where is the Hadith that states that a woman must cover her head, face, hands, feet (no sandals) and even sometimes the eyes. Where did this begin?
    And if it is the "law" based on Sharia, then why don't ALL Muslim women abide by this?
    In Islam I see is that this practice of covering is across the board of women who identify as moderate to extremist.
    Unlike other religions where women decide to cover their heads in Church, or for some other religions where women cover with wigs or scarves, this is a practice by Orthodox believers only. Reform or conservative congregants don't have rules of covering....
    Modesty is a treated as a subjective choice and there is no punishment for choosing how you dress, UNLIKE Islam which has Modesty police in Caliphates dictating if a women isn't covered according to their standards....
    A woman was stoned just for having a red scarf even though she was covered head to toe in Black.....So I want to know what is the standard and where is it originated in the Koran?

    • @tyrannasparx
      @tyrannasparx 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      keren Perilman It is not based in Quran. Its a completely cultural practice in some countries, which foolish women, who culturally never wore head coverings have begun to gullibly swallow.

    • @kerenperilman2228
      @kerenperilman2228 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate you trying to answer, except the people that are enforcing this in Caliphates around the middle east and Asia use the Quran to oppress and stone women. There are instructions when to beat your wife in the Quran...and submission means covering for those that decided a woman must show her worth and holiness by covering. The male domination that insists women must cover is unfair, and because all Caliphates insist a woman must cover there has to be a reason and a Hadith that supports their argument....Otherwise why would women willingly follow? A Niqab is so outrageous, and I understand this is not a feature of the Quran, but the Hijab is so consistently followed across the Caliphates, I just want to know why?

    There are only two verses about dress code for women in Quran, one in Surah Noor and other in Surah Alahzab. The dresses mentioned in Quran are 'Khimar' and 'Jilbab'. Khiamr is to cover the bosoms and Jilbab is an outer garment which does not cover head or face. Head scarf, Hijjab or Burka is not mentioned any where in Quran. Different Muslims religious clerks interpret these verses in different ways. Some think that Khimar should be covering the head and breast (although in Quran it says to cover breasts) and Jilbab should cover the head face and body. If you buy a Jilbab from an Arab dresses shop it does not cover head or face and you have to buy a head cover separately. Many Muslim who wear hijab are Burka does not even know these verses in Quran, they only hear interpretations form religious clerks (Ulema).

    Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, The Supreme Leader of Iran, the Shia Grand Ayatollah, 1979-89 said in his official statements:
    "A man can quench his sexual lusts with a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate. Sodomizing the baby is halal (ALLOWED BY SHARIA). If the man penetrates and damages the child, then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl, however, does not count as one of his four permanent wives. The man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister. It is better for a girl to marry when her menstruation starts, and at her husband's house rather than her father's home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven."

      Zulfa Mulfa Yes, people should be able to wear what ever they want. Hence, muslims need to stop feeding the made up lies of covering your face means you are more pious. Quran does not talk about face veils. only modest clothing. Face veils ought to be banned because they segregate one section of the population from the rest. Humans evolved to build trust chiefly on basis of being able to study faces. Hence face veils of all tyoe go against our very biology. Its just an invention of a few men wanting to dominate everyone and women who have gullibly swallowed their narrative.

    • @paggodiablo01
      @paggodiablo01 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      For most women that wear it, it is definitely a signifier of doctrinal bigotry and oppression.
      She can choose to wear it as a statement of faith, but that does not mean that she is free not to (it does not logically follow). She gets credence and cred for wearing it, and if she does not she is less socially acceptable according to the measure of her religious culture and peers. Sorry - but that is not free choice. That is still religio-cultural and doctrinal pressure and coercion. It is not surprising that she cannot see this at all - since she has so much invested in not seeing (including obviously - a nice career as a mouthpiece).
      More than one unfortunate thing can be true at the same time. So not only is it undeniably a signifier of oppression and misogynistic, patriarchal imposition and abuse, but it is also an arrogant statement of superiority. It is intended to be a signal to other believers and unbelievers that she is better than an unbeliever because she is consecrated to some kind of god being. That she is pious and has 'real' morals. This is not only a direct and implied put down of unbelievers, but is narcissistic in the extreme.
      In fact, her entire approach is narcissistic, and it is motivated out of the same set of delusional psychoses that motivate the beliefs and behaviour of all doctrinally bound, delusional, religionist bigots (sorry - but if your doctrine says unbelief is bad/evil/satanic - then that's bigotry pure and simple and that is that - regardless of how many virgins or mansions you are offering the compliant 'consecrated' and the 'set apart').
      I would be much more impressed with this woman if she chose to be 'set apart' by actually defending the rights of women who are denied education, equality, and liberty precisely because of the doctrines that she is actively promoting. Now that would be really setting herself apart.

      paggodiablo01 sorry, but I disagree with you. In western culture, women are consistently judged on a daily basis to look a certain way to fit a mold or standard of beauty. If you want to talk about what is liberating, then not being judged for the way I look whether I cover up or not should be the form of discourse. There are women who feel they need to wear makeup or get plastic surgery to fit a certain standard of beauty to be accepted or seen as worthy in society. That is not freedom of choice either.

    Their problem with the Hijab is that the Hijab became so beautiful on a women especially young ones, and giving her a lot of respect, that it's making many Western girls attracted to slam. The real reason behind banning the hijab is that they fear Islam changing Europe. It is "resistance" to change. that is real blindness that is leading to women freedom.. Yasmin and her likes belong to the old muslim generation. NO “ladies’HIJAB” found in the Quran.
    The word HIJAB is used in the Quran but not for ladies.
    Check these Ayath/verses that they say have Hijab in them. (But not found)
    In Quran 33.59 -
    “ … JILBABs over themselves…”
    in Quran 24.31 -
    “… KHIMARs over the JAYBs..”
    The word is KHIMAR in the Quran.24.31
    - Root Meaning of KHIMAR is just a COVERING,
    it can also be a neck scarf, any scarf, dupatta, chadar, etc.
    There is no head, hair, veil, niqab or any such importance in the Quran,
    Check the transliteration of Quran 24.31:
    “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna”
    [Plurals : khumur, juyoob]
    // *..put forth the Khimars OVER THE JAYBs…*//
    KHIMAR = COVERING
    and
    JAYB just means OPENING
    - like an opening in a dress, deep-neck, like shirt pocket - is a jayb
    To verify JAYB from the Quran
    check this example in
    //Quran 28.32 (part)
    “…. yadaka fee jayb’ika …”. //
    “… put your hand in your Jayb..”
    (clearly a pocket or opening in the dress)
    (or) some people translate it as chest/ bosoms coz that’s where the Jayb is.
    Look at where the importance is in the verse:
    “COVERING over the Jayb”
    - but the EXPLANATIONS of ‘Sect’ /Firqa leaders promoted the concept of ladies’HIJAB
    - by adding it in books written much later after the Quran AND by adding words with brackets in translations and explanations - gradually shifting the importance of COVERING the Jayb
    - giving importance away from the Jayb seems like DISTRACTION from the main EMPHASIS.
    - AND also these Firqa leaders wrote the Dictionary centuries later to push their meanings
    - please ask them : when and who wrote the Dictionary that they show their meanings from?
    We should not accept new meanings to the words after the word is used in the Quran
    - in the present era the meanings can be understood by checking the same word usage within the Quran
    - see where the word is used again.
    QURAN is it’s own DICTIONARY within it - (by using the important words in other verses and locking the meanings).
    They should know when the same root word is used for khumur/intoxicants even then it’s used for “COVER”
    - - any KHIMUR - intoxicant or alcohol
    COVERS the ability INSIDE THE MIND - -
    Please NOTE : khumur /intoxicants/ALCOHOL does NOT cover the HAIR or outer-head.
    How can a religion claiming to be for the whole world - promote desert clothing for far off freezing lands?
    They’re Spreading culture and calling it religion - They took the desert clothing that is needed in sand storms and called it religion
    OTHER religious groups were ALREADY wearing it in the desert.
    IF anyone wants TO FOLLOW WORDS OF ALLAH then they should verify with the Quran - coz every secondary source should match with the Quran
    AND they should not add words in translations.
    JILBAB:
    Means any decent OUTER CLOTHING worn above the under-garments - it’s plural is JALABIB
    The verse in the Quran 33.59 is about JILBAB - it’s about wearing outer clothing - where it also says that “they can be RECOGNISED and NOT HARASSED”
    So the condition is to be recognised :
    how will anyone RECOGNISE if you cover fully?
    - So avoid tight clothing - it’s really simple as per Quran.
    Wearing clothes that the security personnel and other people are scared of coz they cannot recognise the person inside - as a result you face difficulty and then that results in feeling harassed.
    Check the verse Q.33.59 below and remember that some translations or interpretations have added words in brackets - so look at Arabic /or word-to-word translation to VERIFY, yes VERIFY.
    “… alay’ihinna min jalabib’ihinna… “
    (Plural-is JALABIB)
    //Quran 33.59
    O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their JILBABs over themselves .
    In this way it is more likely that they will be RECOGNISED
    and not be HARASSED.
    And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful//
    --
    Notice it’s only talking about properly covering themselves - there is NO emphasis on head, hair, face covering in this verse also.
    -
    Some of them will not VERIFY what is in the Quran - word by word.
    And you may get to see how they will jump to start calling IGNORANT and names to the person showing them the research.

    The veil and headscarf merely identify the person as belonging to a certain group, gang or tribe. By wearing it the person is happy to advertise which group, gang or tribe they belong to. It's no different to football fans wearing their team colours at a football match, or gangs wearing different coloured shoe laces to identify their loyalties. It's a tribal thing. As old as humanity itself.

    The woman with the glasses is so annoying. Shes saying that women who have chosen to wear the headscarf should feel guilty because women in other countries are being forced to do it? How is that helping those women in those countries? Shouldn't we work to try and oppose the oppression those women go through and help them instead of telling women who like wearing it to take it off? This is ridiculous. Is she going to tell the nuns to take it off next because of this logic?

Not by how violent he is.

    For Muslim women of the world, some have chosen to cover the nakedness with the veil. The hijab is interpreted as a sign of humility and a symbol of faith. How to wear it also vary. Many call it the term hijab, niqab and burka
    The word hijab means cover and is often used to describe the hijab worn for Muslim women. Variants of the scarf / hijab also many manifold. Hijab is a way of covering the nakedness by covering the head and neck but the face remains visible.
