Ahahhaha rogue is the most fun class in the game, other classes are repetitive and boring, you really play the lottery with rogue, but most of the times the rng are just dead cards in your hand, this game was one in 30 exactly perfect rng every time XDD

Its a shame such an iconic card that used to be integral to the control game plan is unplayable today. You'd never put it in the deck, but if you get it off a random effect its usually decent. However, decent isn't good enough anymore. :/
Every game vs rogue, priest and mage. The three generate random shit to throw at the wall and see what sticks classes. Like em or hate em, every other class is straight forward, even demon hunter.
@@daxreyes8081 Card games are by nature random because of the draws, hearthstone more than others because you're supposed to account for something you have no way of knowing, like what card the opponent generated, at least LoR is more skill based since even if you lose some games to bad draws they are the minority of the games

Yup, I currently have the weekly quest to play 10 new old gods, and I only have Yogg. Out of 9 games, his battlecry has made me loose 3 (one of which I was gonna win, until I played him)

Exactly why Legends of Runeterra is my go-to digital CCG now. It has some RNG, but nowhere near Hearthstone levels. Plus I recognized the universe and lore before it fully came out, so that helped.

He wasn't BMing him, he needed to use Devolving Missiles to activate Eviscerate's combo. He couldn't use Soulfire for that because Soulfire might discard his Eviscerate, ruining his lethal. =P
idk about you guys but if a priest low rolls and dies against a high roll quest rogue i am happy af. priest is guilty of the same thievery rng as mage and rogue, but they have far better sustainability and removal in most cases. i know the class is pretty weak right now but it deserves to be after causing so much distress during recent previous metas
@@jeffreyjux Unstable Portal did indeed produce nonsense every so often, but it had a much bigger pool of random to pull from. Glyph had a smaller pool, was discover so the randomness was tempered in your favor, and it was paired with a quest that racked up completion towards a busted reward by letting it DISCOVER ITSELF FOR FREE.
Hearthstone has always had games decided purely by massive rng swings. Remember back when the game was decided by whether the piloted shredder contained a 4/4 or a 1/1? Or whether your implosion got 2 imps and you lost the game or 4 imps and you won the game? Or when boom bots would just randomly deal 8 damage to your face or randomly kill your azure drake which made you lose? Or all the games decided by Rag shots?
This, in itself, is one of the smaller but still noted driving points of Hearthstone's steady decline. The RNG is just WAY too in your face and over the top.

No magically producing the perfect answer from a giant card pool. You have to include the cards you want to use. And then there's Renew, one of the most toxic cards I have ever seen that few complain about.
I left around after Naxxramas or Sept 2014, reasons are it's mostly P2W or Nolife to win, also the dusting value is abysmal.. anyway I'm satisfied with just watching meme videos and the like anyway.
I think that while this style of game is perfectly fine in a casual, and ladder setting, it's absolutely unacceptable for in any sort of real competitive setting. RNG like this is very rare, and for anyone grinding ladder, overall consistency in your own play will still allow you to climb. For casual players, and people like me who come back to this game every once in a while, it creates some really awesome moments that we can enjoy from both sides. However, losing important tournament games off of this type of RNG is absolutely soul crushing. This is the reason I haven't respected tournament play in HS for so long. I think that anyone in the top 8 of any given tournament is more or less interchangeable, depending on the RNG they are presented. And while that's cool for viewers, it sucks for those who enter and win or lose prize money off of random stuff.
Just got bursted at 28 HP playing against DH at turn 8 when he had nothing on board except the 2/2 life steal weapon. I think I’m done with HS. Demon hunter is the least fun class to play against, and has been tier one since it was brought into the game. Second slice needs to be hall of famed because with gives them way too much burst from hand for 4 mana.
Second slice was literally buffed masquerading as a nerf. Ok, it doesn't cost 0 anymore so they stopped using it with Altruis - but that's because Altruis also got nerfed - all they did was increased the total burst available for DH.
I gotta say, as someone that plays almost only rogue and hates priest with a passion this was the most satisfying game I've ever seen, the ending feels so good
making randomly generated things good was a great decision, along with giving warblades windfury. Love you Blizzard, thanks for ruining all the games you make with terrible balance issues

@@revl6151 my post isn't about skill, it's about enjoyment and ability to actually prepare for tournaments, etc. I don't think games should bow to the demands of pro players, but the current state of standard especially (I know nothing about wild nor care about it) feels awful to play in for me, and I get the feeling Firebat is feeling it too - not just from this, but from some of the streams.
Thing is, I bet that game was frustrating from the other side as well. So many wave of apathies and generated cards that knocked him out of strong positions.
