I occasionally use Opera GX for the built in VPN, it's probably worth plugging it as a sale point.

@@furisado4396 I have shit internet so I can actually run it in the background while I play games with the bandwidth limiter as opposed to having to close chrome tasks. Also I like the click-clacking noise it makes when you type into the address bar

@@mr_happygolucky7095 a lot of inconsistencies are really just people having an idea of what cards do instead of what the card SAYS it does... so people have expectations that are not quite aligned with the designed intent.

I do remember the hype of Maiev now that it's been mentioned. But until that moment I straight up forgot it existed.
how did everyone NOT see broom as tier 1 tho, its ONE MANA that gives ALOT OF tempo.
I was so confused when Kibler said it was a mediocre card that was outclassed by carpet. It's way cheaper and buffs your whole board immediately. There are endless applications, and it doesn't seem like it takes that much creativity to find them.
Broom is one of those cards that is so dead simple that people miss out on why it's so strong. The first thing I thought of when I saw it was actually the Dr. Boom hero and why it was hard to beat; turning all of your minions into removal is exceptional, it negates every weakness of playing them by reaping all of the tempo early. The thing is bonkers and it'll see play nonstop until it rotates and I'm actually guessing they'll nerf it to two mana.
Doesn't work with Soul Mirror though, what's the point
@@SomersBugtopia I think Broom is a much more fundamental change, because Dr. Boom still does nothing on the turn you play him. (He doesn't even have taunt.) In fact, Broom might make Dr. Boom playable again in wild, after years of mediocrity.

Hell, Firebat's running commentary is even more interesting than his playing, and his playing is top tier.

In regards to the creeper vs broom/penflinger, my guess is because Broom keeps tempo which isnt too exciting, and Penflinger is the most annoying card printed. Not to mention that on their own neither are particularly good. Yes creeper does require others to die to get cheaper, but that'll happen naturally anyways. On top of that, Penflinger wasn't slept on too hard and broom was slightly, but it was quickly reassessed.
If I recall, it was basically the opposite for creeper.

Will definitely try that Browser, what normally drives me to choose chrome over other options are the extensions and fast download speed, if this browswe can compete with it in terms of speed i will definitely stick with it
There's an addon to be able to use all chrome extensions. It's at the very least a straight upgrade to chrome.

I've always needed to be able to cap my browser out at 30 fps. Perfect for a man on the go with a laptop.
I've been using Opera GX for a few months now, came from Chrome. Being able to limit CPU usage is massive imo, I do get lag from time to time but it's whatever if it means I get more fps in game.
i think alot of people assume broom give only 1 minion when it got revealed without actually read the card properly
hence it rated so low
you could have apotheosis the time warden hit face for 2 more damage heal 5, then hysteria the giant heal for 5 everything dies, then play a pyro and heal, heal 12 versus get 2 more face damage in but have a less developed board after which is fine since they have 0 cards

Yeah, Hysteria was a guaranteed clear if played on the 6/7, Palm Reading into Hysteria would leave 5 mana left for tempo, discount Plague to 8 mana too.
Yeah it wasn't the best play, but I don't think he was paying much attention at that point since he had the game in the bag. Should have Palm Reading + Hysteria + full tempo

Soul mirror broom interaction bit weird
Not really, I think it's actually consistent for all similar effects. The minions did actually get rush so they "could" attack, but they already attacked once that turn and none of them had windfury. The game doesn't seem to make a distinction between manual attacks and attacks that occur as part of an effect, an attack is just an attack.

Trying to think of other interactions like this. Back when Hysteria could target friendly minions, did it use the friendly’s attack? Did Mass Hysteria use your minions’ attacks?
@@nanowasabi4421 You know what, I take back what I said about this being consistent. Played a bit since leaving that comment and went against a hunt who used trueaim crescent to attack twice a minion in one turn, so I guess there's at least one example of an attack effect not eating the normal attack.
I think that as written it should probably work the way the soul mirror interaction did and from memory most of them do work that way, but since I was immediately proven wrong in-game that may not be the case after all.

That could still be fine if the minion attacked on its own and then got the Crescent attack. Doesn’t help that I’m not playing Hearthstone myself right now so I can’t test these things out.
@@nanowasabi4421 Nah, it was the other order so there definitely seem to be exceptions to the "attack effects eating normal attacks" rule, if it actually even is a rule.

6:08 don't blame yourself, Firebat, this behavior isn't consistent with other things, like truaim crescent, which doesn't stop rushing minions from attacking after its effect was used on them.
I'd recommend watching a Linus Tech Tips video about why you shouldn't use opera GX but I'm just a random dude so you don't have to believe me
I'd always go with firefox over opera. Honestly, if you don't have enough ram to run a browser in the background, you might wanna get a new pc
