Some channels I watch I just do it, although I’m subscribed to this channel I don’t have time to watch regularly. If a video is disgusting & highly offensive I will leave a dislike. If something just isn’t something I like or style I just move on, if a channel is small &/or they’re doing something good I will thumbs up even if it’s not something I watch. Some people seem to enjoy pressing dislike! Leaving petty comments like they speak too fast or can’t understand their accent 🤦🏼♀️ Think they forgot TH-cam is pretty much world wide and not everything is made to suit them particularly. Growing up, I never lived where there really were trees. I occasionally read in books about people raking leaves or burning piles of leaves, but it left a slightly puzzling "why?". With videos, you can see that when trees, badly needed for summer shade, shed there is no ignoring the leaves. They may blow in from neighbors, drop from over a fence or down from above, etc. but a sea of deep leaves has to be dealt with, modern "herding". That was good needed work and enjoyed your humor and the owners kindness for Jamie. I had my eye on a car in front of your truck, thinking you'd remind us to blow off or clean up anything that affected others, as in picking up leaves, there is a cloud of dust. You not only did your typical "blow off" of the owners vehicle in the driveway and one in the street but a nice extra of cleaning off the storm drain grate.

It's so heartwarming to see a homeowner want to pay you even though you do it for no charge. This homeowner brought me to tears wanting to at least donate for your sister-in-law. So many of the jobs you do at no cost homeowners or renters take it for granted, don't even offer to pay you, give you something to drink or seem not very appreciative, like they feel entitled. Have they ever considered the cost of using your equipment? I know you do this to help others in need for whatever reason but the property owners should be more respectful and grateful and PAY IT FOREWARD! At least they can clean up the trash in the yard 🙄 God bless you for your kindness, thoughtfulness and being a true humanitarian. You truly are our angel sent from above.

Western side of the US, routine yard maint. is common. Done bi-weekly is not horribly expensive and they haul the leaves, etc away, trim bushes, cut grass... It's GREAT for people like my sister and I who share a house, both disabled (I'm waiting for my second knee replacement) and you don't get into a bind like this. An initial clean-up might be a bit more pricey but most places will let you pay it in pieces when your soc. sec check arrive. Seems like the rest of the country needs this too. You and Al are doing good deeds for people that REALLY need them. Goddess bless you both.

Love your videos My brother owned a commercial lawn company out of Bartlesville, I ran it for him for a short time. For awhile we had the 3 Cracker Barrel’s in a Tulsa (big headache) last year he sold the company and became a skid steer attachment dealer for Jenkins Iron and Steel. Now he’s the biggest Jenkins dealer in the US based out of Dewey

OMG! I'd go crazy if I had to deal with all those leaves each fall. Think I'd just let them fall then order a truckload of topsoil to cover all the leaves. Come spring, I'd spray on grass seeds and just let nature do the rest. If it were me, I'd have taken that blower and aimed it at the leaves still on those trees. They'd be as close to naked as I could get them by the time I left! TFS - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Get one of those 1950's 'fat shaker' machines (they make them for fruit trees), and hook it up to the oak tree. ours is still dropping leaves and acorns. (houston)
I also live in Houston. I had 1/10 the amount of leaves as in the video.. the HOA sent me a notice to rake my leaves!! Leaves were still on the trees too.

That is one beautiful tree but I could never handle all those leaves. I am learning from you that there is a real knack to blowing and getting the leaves to go right where you want them to go. You got them all exactly where you wanted them in one huge pile. Amazing!

Why don't you vacuum the leaves in the front before you go to the back? Wouldn't that prevent those leaves from getting redistributed by the wind? Seems like common sense to me, but what do I know?
Once they are piled up they don't really go anywhere. It's while you are moving them that you have to worry about the wind.

OMG! I'd go crazy if I had to deal with all those leaves each fall. Think I'd just let them fall then order a truckload of topsoil to cover all the leaves. Come spring, I'd spray on grass seeds and just let nature do the rest. If it were me, I'd have taken that blower and aimed it at the leaves still on those trees. They'd be as close to naked as I could get them by the time I left! TFS - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Get one of those 1950's 'fat shaker' machines (they make them for fruit trees), and hook it up to the oak tree. ours is still dropping leaves and acorns. (houston)
I also live in Houston. I had 1/10 the amount of leaves as in the video.. the HOA sent me a notice to rake my leaves!! Leaves were still on the trees too.

That is one beautiful tree but I could never handle all those leaves. I am learning from you that there is a real knack to blowing and getting the leaves to go right where you want them to go. You got them all exactly where you wanted them in one huge pile. Amazing!
