    @RSKT When you say at about 6:10 that you're using LFO1 to modulate LFO2's rate, I'm pretty sure what you're actually doing is using LFO1 to modulate the depth of the connection between decay and LFO2. I did some experimenting and this is how it seems to me. Section 6.2 of the manual seems to say the same thing. To modulate LFO2's rate with LFO1, you'd go from LFO2 rate pad to the LFO1 mod pad. (Of course, that would modify LFO2's with LFO1 for all uses of LFO2 and not just for decay. But I think that's how it is.)

      Yes! You're absolutely right. I'm kicking myself for this. I thought I was doing it right for ages, and it wasn't until halfway through making the video manual that I realised my mistake. So I wound up correcting myself in a later video. Sucks, but it is what it is. Thanks for leaving this comment here though. Hopefully it helps others who watch it in the future :)

      @@RSKT_music Well, I still learned here that it's possible to modulate the depth. So even if you didn't say the accurate thing, you still pointed me/us in a useful direction.

      @@AdamPritchard thanks so much dude! I appreciate the kind words, and glad to hear you got something out of it. I still haven't started filming the workflow manual just yet, but hopefully will be able to get to it soon :)

    I might never own a Deluge, but that does not stop me from watching all your videos about it.

      Hey thanks so much dude! What do you own? I'm hoping to out up something Ableton related soon, and possibly something with the Zoia. Honestly I'm waiting for the new Deluge firmware to drop so I can do a big tutorial series for the whole thing.

      @@RSKT_music I work in Reaper lately, and own Kurzweil hardware synths and UVI Falcon as my main soft synth. But I would watch anything if I can pick up tips from it.

      @@rayderrich Fair enough dude. I'm pretty much the same. I find myself learning all there is to know about gear and software I'll never use haha. But you're right, sometimes you learn some interesting tips along the way.

    Fantastic!! Loved that for the hihats. The LFO vs Random for the high hats give a nice difference. I was playing along on my Deluge as I watched and didn't have to pause too many times, but always nice to learn new techniques!!

    Deluge hi hats always need at least low pass filter but I usually give movement by recording filter movements manually. My next learning is to apply lfo/filter to hi hats.

    • @RSKT_music
      @RSKT_music  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LFO definitely works too! Even better you can use the drive filter for some reallllly thick lofi results.

    • @girlinagale
      @girlinagale 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RSKT_music I wish an lfo could be applied to an audio clip to modulate the volume. In audio clips it's difficult to manage their endings - they just stop abruptly (in Arranger.)

    • @RSKT_music
      @RSKT_music  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@girlinagale true, I haven't even tried that to be honest. I guess one work around would be to resample the audio track and drop it into a drum track as a sample. Then you should be able to use an LFO. Otherwise you could automate the volume and make it an "unique" clip in arranger mode.

      Thanks so much! What do you mean by links with dot? I think I get what you mean with the rest, but my mic is an SM57. I need a converter to plug it into my deluge. But hey, that's a really good idea all the same.
